Yeah, you're right. JVR locked and loaded, Brockman interesting given the starting price, will be a touch famine/ feast, but good on weekend 👍 Just saw SPS played ok on the weekend, good for him, needs to perform.
Thank you for being the sober voice of reason 🙏
Agree that Brocky looked the goods on the weekend, but I think he’s a very goal reliant forward

The benefits of the trade is pretty much captaincy score difference between having Oliver and Bont as my pairing with Laird. As Bont and Oliver are both reasonably priced. How do you quantify that?
In theory if you run Laird as perma captain until getting Oliver at better value he should average 120+, given his starting average was 127. So really no need for a second perma captain at top $. I'd be holding Bont and using the coin to get from DC > English if you have enough

It would take 2 trades to get English or Witts. I’m not sure the rookie trade in options are that good this week.

I went Cunnington to DC 🤦🏻‍♂️. Have Witt’s and Marshall as my rucks. Remaining forwards are Dunkley, Coniglio, Rozee, Sheezel and Chandler.
Nothing is jumping out at me for a DC replacement. Taranto?

Need some help here.. If I do these trades it puts an extra $170k in the coffers over the next 2 weeks and leaves me with $88k in the bank. Plus it gets rid of 2 cheapies going nowhere. I'll plan to buy Doc back cheaper in a couple of weeks or Stewart. Worth it or too risky? Thanks. Screen Shot 2023-04-04 at 8.12.44 pm.png

Way to miss the point.

Obviously he has ended up a good scorer early days. Point out where I said he wasn’t scoring well?

It’s just the w***er talk of “oh everyone is sheep so no one considered these other players”. Obviously no one considered Buckley for the reasons I mentioned. It would have been ridiculous to start Buckley when he wasn’t even named. Not because people are “sheep”. It’s just inane hindsight talk that is ****ing useless and stinks of people acting high and mighty over the “sheep” masses. May as well say why didn’t people consider Brockman to start with, 89 as a 123k rookie, didn’t you start him?!

Sam Petrevski Seton:

Awkward price, but they're the walking wounded and he's looked ok, any takers?
Obviously an absolute speculator, under no illusions here.
Heard rumours of him having a brace on his wrist. Would advise keeping in mind the injury risk

Wait for the bubble for VanRoo.
Day ain’t got shit on Doc.
I wouldn’t trade fit premos.

Can’t believe you sheep didn’t consider Jack Scrimshaw in your starting teams. Idiots!

Feel I'm almost happy with the team but it's still awful, ideas?

Patience. You picked 3 mid pricer mids, you need to wait. Setterfield is a big win, Worpel has been good 2 of 3 weeks, Hopper should be building. Just stay patient and you will have a 5 premo mid soon enough.

Callaghan has to go though. Not doing enough and could be in line for some rest to get his shoulder right I reckon. You could look at De Goey who looks like he could be a premo this year - you’d have to be somewhat brave no matter who you took though.

Really stuck on what to do here. Darcy to DC last week really burns, with not enough $$ left in the bank to trade DC now to anyone worthwhile without making another trade.

All i can come up with is Macrae > JKelly. Yes Macrae played decent on the weekend but his role is still weird and doesn’t give me confidence. Brayshaw would be in the firing line but no one below him entices me.

This lets me get to DC > Grundy. Who i’m also not sold on, but i can’t see a feasible way to get to english / witts.
Will i have enough trades to afford to trade Grundy again to a proper premo, will gawn stay out longer than 3 weeks?? ****s me.

Thoughts??? 2F2A44D1-6097-4923-9E15-2E0F1C4F021D.png 0778F151-2BE8-4C32-BD1A-01DB11789C01.png
