Agree it was a spike week, but he got 98 the week prior, when your mob got bollocked by the swans.

The 60%+ CBAs are the key, I think.
He even got 22 touches in round 1 with 24% CBAs (or thereabouts) IIRC. Kid knows how to find the pill.

Tempted to turf Hayden young and bring in this sexy man- only thing is unfortunately he doesn’t play North every week

He’s a gun and playing mostly mid so you’ll get DPP from him in a few weeks too. First week he had 20+ but burnt it a bit but it was round 1 and first game in his new role. Get on the day train!! It’s also his contract year haha

I'm thinking about doing this. Losing Ridley for a rookie that already had a price increase isn't the best, but lets me grab a keeper r1 for Cameron and also fix the Cunnington pick to a (hopefully) proper premo. This is my second boost already which feels pretty bad, was planning on saving the last four for upgrade season.

I could also just use one trade and sideways Cameron > Flynn (Can't afford Grundy in one). All the sub 500k rucks look really dodgy though and Flynn is over if Preuss comes back into the team. It does save two trades and a boost though.

Any Brayshaw owners? He's been pretty underwhelming in the first few rounds, thinking of trading him off now. What are others doing? LDU on the bubble looks like a pretty tempting option if he gets up

Yep. Keeping him. Backing him in to turn it around.

Should probably sideways him to LDU but I hate doing sideways trades and LDU is under a cloud.

He's capable of scoring 80+

His DE is 68% and 69% in his last 2 games respectively.

He's usually a solid user by foot (down to 0.63 Kick to handball ratio in his last game, average is probably >1.0), and he's getting faded by his teammates from time to time. I'm backing him in to improve his DE.

He doesn't get used because he runs to the wrong spots constantly. I've watch him closely out on the wing the last 2 weeks. He's got no idea.

Looks like Will Day is set to become next week's injury news with all these trade ins...

If I recall correctly they've got him on the right wing the last 2 games. Might have something to do with his shoulder?

Have a look at the preseason (vs Suns) and Rd 1 match where he's playing on the left wing, looks so much more comfortable playing alongside the left boundary with his left kick.

You can turn Bergman into De Goey with the funds you have leftover. Would make for a nice looking team.

Cheaper options that are better than Bergman include Josh Daicos, Jai Newcombe, Steele Sidebottom or even Andy McGrath who is going okay and has DEF/MID status.

Something I'm looking at.

The riskier approach would be something like Rioli out, Ginbey into D3, and someone like Jelly into the mid.

Feel I'm almost happy with the team but it's still awful, ideas?
Callaghan - Madden via Davey via Ratugolea
Worpel - Oliver.

Sub Ginbey with Constable and put Ginbey on ground for Davey, sub Constable and Wilmot.

Sam Petrevski Seton:

Awkward price, but they're the walking wounded and he's looked ok, any takers?
Obviously an absolute speculator, under no illusions here.

Nah, Chandler at 200k (if you don't have him), JVR and Brockman ($123k) all better options imo. Still, if you can make a pick like that stick successfully, it could separate you from the pack a bit.

But yeah, outside player in a decimated midfield isn't somewhere I'd wanna go, personally. They're gonna get smashed the next couple of weeks, too.

Yeah, you're right. JVR locked and loaded, Brockman interesting given the starting price, will be a touch famine/ feast, but good on weekend 👍 Just saw SPS played ok on the weekend, good for him, needs to perform.
Thank you for being the sober voice of reason 🙏
