I would also add our best players never seem to fire at the same time eg. Gray Wingard

Consistency of behavior is the difference between a good side and a great side.

It's time to release the shackles of self-doubt.

All this tells me is with Ryder and Hombsch and we beat GWS on their home deck.

We were always going to find it difficult to back up the showdown and our opening draw away at GWS. The fade out (in both the showdown and against GWS) was the biggest disappointment, not necessarily the loss.

Carlton board says he is a possible out
I ventured over there, a delusional lot thats for sure.

We are front running flat track bullies, who will crumble under their intense pressure if they apply it appropriately. And all travelling fans need to wear medieval armour and drive armoured vehicles because our crowds are that bad.

Oh and some of them think they should rest cripps, fisher and kreuzer.

Im looking forward to friday...

Put the game beyond doubt ASAP so another lapse doesn't cost us.

We lapsed after we were 18 points up in the last against this mob last year.

No the umpires won it for them with some very questionable decisions. Like the previous season at the MCG.

as said earlier in the week, watch us get that Nichols w***er this as one of our umpires.

How do you guys think I would go using a junior western stand GA ticket for my adult mate?

I normally enter via the southern gate then walk around to the western stand and scan in at that southern pocket gate area there.

I realise that upon entry via the southern gate there is no ticket check but when you enter the western stand, a person will scan the ticket and the junior ones are not white on the back they are an orangy / browny colour. This is where I feel I may have an issue.

The other method I had thought of is to enter directly in to the western stand from the outside between the hill and grassed food van area of the western stand but I feel that I may have the same problem as I'm not sure whether it is a ticket gate scan in or person scan in over there.

Does anyone know about how passionate AO staff are about this and would they be aware of the different colour tickets and to look out for it?

Also, do any of you have any other suggestions on how I can hack my way in with this ticket?

Should I try some sort of online ticket transfer method (do they still do that??) so I can print a paper copy of the ticket which will draw less attention?

Thanks for the advice in advance.

The entry gate at the Northern End is gate scanned.

Lol quite a lot of misinformation in this post...like any Carlton fan would want us to rest Cripps (basically our best and most exciting player), Fisher (last weeks debutant who did well and is an exciting prospect) and Kreuzer (who is the heart of the team and is having his best year in basically his career).

Cripps and Kreuzer are under injury clouds buddy.

Concession tickets light up in a different colour on the scanner and 9 times out of 10 they will ask to see your ticket. Just pay for an upgrade.

After the break last week, we return to the super ulrtazord simulation of this match using AFL 99.

A tight first quarter where Carlton hold us fairly well, but are unable to score themselves.
Their best avenue to goal in Whitnall unable to convert his many opportunities.
Despite the serious pressure on our mids from the likes of Koutoufides, Bradley, and Ratten, we manage to get forward and take our opportunities when presented.
Port Power heads in to QT with their nose in front, if only just.

In the second, we start to get on top Francou and Schofield win clearance after clearance, and Tredea starts heating up.
Our defence gels beautifully. Whenever one makes a mistake, another is there to help out, rarely giving Carlton's forwards a chance.
We surge ahead at HT.

After halftime, we dominate the game in all aspects. Francou flattens three Blues over the course of the second half.
Tredea enters god mode, and can do wrong - kicking goals from set shots, running into fifty, crumbing them, and setting up multiple goals for Cornes, Burgoyne, and Lade.
Dew has a 'mare, being well held by Christou all day.

Ports by 49*

*This may seem small by what a lot people think a domination of Carlton should be, but out the AFL99 simulations so far it is by far the largest margin.
(The other three were Port by 15 over Sydney, Port by 7 over Freo, and Port by 19 over Adelaide)
