I assume the average is down because of his earlier games when he was still developing but two goals a game is over 40 in a full season. We’d jizz if we had that over here.An average of two goals a game is hardly anything to write home about.
Fair player.Jeremy Cameron is our killer. 45 goals in 12 games. That’s almost 4 a game.
Thanks to Dan for his close contact rulesCheckers is a close contact. His gf has it.

Yet he has never kicked more than 4 against us. So it’s not like he had a slow start and has caught up by kicking bags.I assume the average is down because of his earlier games when he was still developing but two goals a game is over 40 in a full season. We’d jizz if we had that over here.
General sorenessWhat happened to Ginni?
Sore. 5 day break, not uncommon. What happened to Ginni?
I think they may keep Madgen in and get either Pendles or Maynard to play mid, so that Adams and JDG can rotate forward more often. Forward line isnt contested enough otherwise, without Elliott, Mccreery and Mihocek. In: Adams, De Goey, Roughy, Kreuger
Out: Elliott, checkers, Ginnivan, Bianco
I'm not convinced Madgen will be dropped. They may want to play him to manage roughy's game time as he gets to full match fitness. But usually the two wouldn't usually play together. But Lions only have 2 real talls (McStay/Daniher, unless Oscar spends time forward )
While it did appear to me that Cameron would play. They could switch it up and opt for Cox.
I could make a case of pushing sidey forward and bringing in Poulter.
We're without Mcreery, Mihocek, Ginnivan and Elliott and Roughy is back. Where are you getting more forwards from?Because we have more forwards. Yes, scoring is an issue but we have more guys who can fill the void up front in some capacity than we have who can go down in defence. I'm a supporter for throwing the absolute craziest suggestions at this game because if we lost by 100 points but learnt 100 lessons (getting real deep here ik), we'd be in that process. Better to learn now when the media and fans are forgiving than stuff up when we get good.
That's very possible. I've been trying to figure that out. If they play him, then someone down there has to play more mid. You could be spot on.I think they may keep Madgen in and get either Pendles or Maynard to play mid, so that Adams and JDG can rotate forward more often. Could be worse. Could be living in Shanghai and isolated, forcibly removed from home, kids sent to a special facility and the family dog chased down the road and beaten to death by a guy in full PPE gear. By comparison, Dictator Dan's isolation requirements seem relatively benign.I know, having to isolate because your intimate partner has Covid. Completely crazy!

I just wish it wasn't always the good players or 'ready to explode on the big stage' youngsters who suffer these setbacks, or why the players can't space their mishaps rather than time them to happen simultaneously.

Well a lot has changed since my Saturday post with now Checkers and Ginnivan biting the dust,,,4th game in a row that I've attended - seen 2 wins, 2 losses. But today was worse than the Geelong game,,,,,
So how bold will the selection committee be for next week? Some obvious ins, but how many changes are too many?
I could flag up to 6 changes, but unlikely to happen:
Definite Ins:
Adams (assuming all clear re: protocols)
DeGoey (back from suspension)
Possible Ins:
Roughead (assuming Match fit)
Freddie Kreuger (if passed fit, get him in)
Cox - despite the haters, you can only put your big Texan hand up in the VFL. Massive game from him v Preston today
Poulter - big fan. Think it's time for another crack in the big show
Outs:
Elliot (shoulder)
WHE (heart)
Cameron (lack of talent)
Henry (no confidence)
Magden (as voted by all to go away and never return on Big Footy Forum)
FBMaynard Roughead Howe
Naicos Moore IQ
Jaicos Pendles Poulter
DeGoey Kreuger McInnes
Cox Checkers Sidey
Grundy Adams Crisp
Int: Noble, Ginnivan, Wilson, Lipinski
Sub WHE
With checkers, elliot, ginni and mcreery unavailable I don’t see how we drop Henry.Feels like one of WHE/Henry misses out from the white team. I think Wilson did enough.
