After all the talk about us preparing for life after Rooey and Joey I get the feeling it could be life without Armo first. His body is stuffed and his current output is miles apart from his 2015 form. When he's only 90% fit he's very much borderline best 22. I think it will be Steven and Stevens in this week because the Cats mids are their strength (their only one). Match them in the middle and we'll get the job done. Surely we're due to kick more goals than behinds too. I quite like the fact the Cats are 4-0 and ripe for the picking. Even their coach admits they've been lucky in a couple of games.

And isn't it great to finally have a couple of ready made match ups for their big fat sook ?

With any luck Dangerfield won't be 100%, he looked like he was carrying an injury today and wasn't as effective as usual.

With a 6 day break they might have a few sore bodies trying to back up, they beat Hawthorn comfortably in the end but it was still a tough bruising game.

Apart from Armitage we didn't look to have too many injury issues from yesterday's game and Steven should be fresh as a daisy after 3 weeks off.

This is pretty much like a Grand Final to me.. I live very close/ in Geelong and my hate for that football club is like no other hate. Everything about the filth makes my blood boil! Most of my 'friends' follow them and whilst some are loyal, knowledgeable fans most are unbearable!
Prior to 2006 I didn't even know half of Geelong followed the Cats! Absolute fair weathered scum.
I was there last year and will be again... please dear god I hope we bring our 'A' game and stick another one up these muppets!

Got a knee in the ribs early on.

OUT: Armitage (inj.), Lonie, Dunstan (omit)
IN: Stevens Steven Minchington

Meatball's strong body and VFL form gets him the nod over Little Jack.

Honestly I don't get all the Lonie hate. He had 1 really bad game this year and the rest have been alright to pretty good. But if you read the post game reviews it's all Lonie's fault we lost or we nearly lost because of Lonie. I just don't get it
No hate from me.

Worth noting that Lonie played 10 games in the Seniors last year, and Minchington 13, so they both have roles to play.

I just prefer Minchington's stronger rig against a team like Geelong who boast Stewart (190cm 88kg), Mackie (193cm 82kg), Thurlow (190cm 87kg) and Tuohy (187cm 91kg) in their starting back six.

EDIT: There's a solid argument for bringing in Koby Stevens (189cm 88kg) to play mainly forward in a three-man wrecking crew with Long and Weller.
