Spent all our tickets last week. Usually run out games strongly but we looked gassed after half time.

Umpires diabolical. Timekeeping in that first quarter was questionable.

At the end of the day they were better for longer. Super exciting first fifteen minutes a snippet of things to come.

No shame in losing to the Swines. They are a proper good side. See them a chance for top 4 this year, probably 5-6th.

Umpires gave Sydney momentum and ripped it away from us, game is their to be forgotten but not the blatant shit umpiring.

The out of bounds, non frees and more costly then the ones they pay, and all the boys dropped theirs heads, particularly the Hardwick high non free - like get ****ed. Tasmania can **** off to, why is that a home game.

We win that with a full strength side.

Sicily should throw those boots out to, he was horrid.

We were always going to just hold on, or they were going to run over us. Even before the start of the game I thought this. Very disappointing in the end. Mentally immature & our midfield fell apart. The mental strength will come. I also think we were poorly coached in the last quarter. In saying that, can't blame it on youth, they were just as young.

Lack of run and contested marking options forward of the ball really hurt today.

Desperately missed Lewis up forward, you’d think if he misses another game it might be time for Callow to get a game.

Lynch was great early but doesn’t have the match fitness required yet - could get destroyed by Gawn - not sure we have a back up.

Also need some more strength in the middle, Titch tagged out too easily and not enough support for him. Ned Long??

I know we shouldn't blame the umpire for any loss, but that was terrible umpiring. Not just from the field umpire but also the boundary umpire.

Drop off intensity and some poor decision making hopefully getting a focus from the coaching staff this week.

We really missed CJ and Mitch Lewis today, but it's really great to see Kozi kicked 3 goals.

Disappointing last quarter, but you could see it coming the way the game had planned out after our opening blitz, Swans would have been in front a lot earlier were it not for poor goal kicking.

Thought Finn had some really good moments today.

Really nice of Sydney to only play 1 quarter today. Could’ve been 100+ today had they played the entire game!

Stopped running, as evidenced by Sicily not having anyone to kick to at one point...actually that was just before things really fell apart. That knocks us out of my little 'Finals rehearsal', so no pressure on the game against Melbourne next week.
We were just 'off' at some crucial moments of the game, and I hate those end of quarter goals...there must be a way to stop that, and it must be a priority against Melbourne...regardless of the result we have to commit to no late quarter goals that could have been prevented.

Keep challenging those ahead, and win the games we 'should' and it will be an O.K. start to the climb back to the top,as I've said before my biggest hope is we scrape into the 8 and start getting some finals experience into the side.

Frustrating as ****.

Poor kicking from swans helped us. Charity goals for swans hurt us. We held them off for a long time and the final score is disappointing but once the umps finally got their scoreboard ticking, well the floodgates opened.

I thought Finn had a good old crack. Duke faded but his start was electric early. Scrim continues to be a jet. Hardwick played a rippa.

Chad and Kozi tried.

**** I’m frustrated though…. Maybe all of their 30+ frees were there, but the amount of times we had holding the man, front on contact, and too high not paid to us was unbelievable such was the blatant nature of some. And as for the 3rd quarter goals centred from the grandstand …..

Midfield looked good early, but really fell away.

-13 in clearances.
-26 inside 50's.

We need big Ned back, and we need to find more mids.

Started really well. It all went downhill from there though. So many mistakes and skill errors that kept piling up. And we were unable to win a contest outside our d50.

We did well to hold on as long as we did. Some really good second and third efforts to keep pressure on by Finn. And Worps early. It was only a matter of time before it fell apart though.

We look good when we can transition the ball. But we really need a clean out of our mids.
