I'd much rather AT and Petty playing the hard defensive role with May zoning off instead of May having to worry about Lynch or Riewoldt plus covering for Smith who's likely out of position

He's in the best team in the comp with a stacked backline and keeps finding games. He's good and you're still hanging on to old valuations of him. He's come along a lot.
Lol he only made the team because of injuries. Petty's 50x the player.

Smith has no idea where to stand in the zone and it effects Mays game because he's having to parent him. No trust at all.

It's not old values he's the same player as always. You guys are way over board in your support as a piss take.

It's not locked in. We can play anyone we want , even someone not named at all. it's like a $5000 fine . Goody's words were we wont play all 3 , 1 of them will be left out.
well all 3 are named mate, people can change their minds :)

Would prefer Tommo back in instead of Smith but he seems to have lost some pace after his ACL.
Will be watching Dunstan's disposal to see if it's improved at all, if he makes it in.

lol. you're trying to retrofit a scapegoat because May had the one bad defending game? He's not competing with Petty for a spot either.

It's not retrofitting it's fact. Gawn said that May has to spend the whole game telling Smith where to stand. That's exactly Smith's problem. He also played like crap against Essendon after a good game before that.

Yeah, we really should be smashing the Tigers like we did GWS. Tiges midfield depth is poor, defence is majorly wobbly, poor clearance team. If we win clearances(which we should), we should be putting these guys to the sword. Their forwardline looks dangerous and Vlastuin and Prestia always play well against us but we win this one 8/10 times I reckon.

Lol how is he in the team when Salem Lever and Hibberd come back, he's only in this week because we are down 3 defenders still.
Lol you do realise it was Joel Smith that kept Hibberd out of the side last year leading into the finals right?

Had Smith not done his hamstring during the Perth hub we would be talking about him as a premiership player. That's the reality whether some rate him or not.

I'm mixed on him but it's obvious coaching staff rate him relatively high.

Hibberds cooked. Recurring calf problems this year at 32 years of age spells trouble for him.

He missed 8 weeks due to injury you sloth so of course he was limited to AFL games. He came in for Steven May against Adelaide and kept Michael Hibberd out of the side even when May came straight back in the following. In fact they dropped Hibberd for May and kept Smith in.

Your argument that Hibberd will keep Smith out of the senior side this year is purely based on your obsessively weird hate for Smith.

Our premiership coaching staff made up their minds last year that they prefer Smith over Hibberd. Guarantee that's still the same this year.

🤣🤣 I forgot the part when our premiership coaching staff picked smith over Hibberd in the GF
Your such a donkey lol
Brayshaw has gone back and looked twice the player of Smith.

Obsessively weird hate, and fact.

He missed 8 games. Played 3. That's still 14 games he wasn't selected hahahahaha **** this is a shit argument.

TK think you’re missing what DD is saying, he’s not claiming Smith is best 22 in his own opinion, rather it seems the coaches rate him best 22.
Again on what evidence? That he played 3 games last year? Or played 3 this year when our whole defence was missing. Pig played the majority of the year. That they picked him for the GF makes him in the best 22 last year.
Hunt and Brayshaw have both moved into the back 7 so which of them is smith booting out? He only gets a game this week because Lever, Salem and Pig are out.

Take ya big teeth and fu** off

Just watching this properly today. No bloody wonder while everyone else is immediately sus on Harmes, Melksham is the most shameless self-promoter.
