Only way I can get Lloyd is if I trade impey, Higgins or jkh.

At this stage I am leaning towards Tyson to swan and Ellis to Robertson.

Currently have 440k in the bank. Should I do this or try and get Lloyd in?

Ok, hypothetical question here. What if Langdon is named as the Sub today? Would pretty much put the kibosh on his cash making. Would you change your trade plan and upgrade him/downgrade him instead of whoever you were planing on trading?

I'm thinking in the event that Langdon is the sub this arvo I might upgrade him to Swallow and loophole Dunstan/Crouch with the Ellis donut in the mids to play it safe. Would mean only starting with 5 premo's in the mids this week though...

My defence would then be: SMitchell, Bartel, McVeigh, Swallow, Suckling, McDonald. (Langford, Georgiou)

Luke ball might become the pies gia

If Langdon is sub I'll trade him out instead of one of Tyson or Ellis. It'll most likely be Ellis. Tyson will probably score higher than Taylor.
I hope Swan kills it today!!

Just do Tyson-Swan and Ellis- Robertson. Impey has held his spot in the back pocket and he still needs to moo.

Thinking of double downgrading this week with two solid rookies on the bubble.
Ellis>Robertson
TMitch> Lloyd

Leaving me with 580k in the bank to go Dunstan>Watson and Langdon>Jaensch/Hibberd next week.

Thoughts? Could do an downgrade+upgrade but would mean missing out on one of the rookies.

Hopefully no one listened to the guy who said Tom Williams was a comparable trade to Fasolo last week..
Yeah, that was me. Oops. :drunk:

Had the added bonus of sitting there at the game watching him cut us up time and again. Not trading him in out of pure spite now.

Depends - is downgrade essential to your plans, and how do you feel about Swan/Griffin - bargin price if you can see one of them in final team, and Robertson is no Crouch/Dunstan/Tyson...

It's not essential but having almost 600k to do some upgrades next week would be nice, i'll have to see how Griffen goes next this week but it would be out of him and Watson who I bring in next week.
I think Robertson could be ok, was on almost 80 at 3 quarter time last week, should see solid midfield time whilst perhaps Dunstan could be moved to a wing when Armitage, Steven, Montagna all back together?

Looking to trade out Dunstan for a rookie.

Who has greater job security Nick Robertson (Bris) or Sam Gray (Power)?

Awesome team, but you had Naitanui as an emergency? o_O

Cheers man... But up until last week it certainly hasn't been scoring like one!

Yeah Lycett in this week is a massive red flag ... Can't see naitanui scoring big with him and cox in the side, just can't see him spending enough time in the ruck so I'll roll the dice and go the unquestioned number 1 in his team in Hickey, no doubt the decision will burn me though - has every other week apart from round 1

Yeah, I'm in the market for a rd 8 captain and those are my choices - I'm happy to wait on Griffin for one more and see how Watson bounces back today.

I just feel that Robertson might struggle against genuine opposition - as the lions entire team will - Richmond did keep them in game last week.

Your sentiments about Dunstan are accurate - has a very bright future but Needs to learn how to exert himself on a game when he's not in centre square.

Now tempted to go:
Tyson > Lloyd
Langdon > Swallow
/Bartel

Is that worth missing out on Robbo/Cutler.. ?

That's what I've done ATM (will probably change my mind before lockout though) it leaves me with 113,700 in the bank which will come in handy for another upgrade next week.

It also allows me to Loophole Dunstan/Crouch with Ellis donut but I have to start Lloyd. Just can't decide whether it's a better move to trade out Tyson instead of Dunstan. I'm sure I will pick the wrong one.

Anyways, how does this look lads?

I think you should get Lloyd in. He's expected to go up $92k this week and another $52k the week after. Missing out on that to get Impey's expected rise of $38k or JKH's expected rise of $33k over the next 3 weeks doesn't make a lot of sense .... especially since Lloyd has shown he can score much higher than either of them.

I'll be making that trade, but I'll be waiting to see if JKH is the sub before deciding if it will be him or Impey who makes way for Lloyd.

Gonna double downgrade to build a chest for next week,

Option 1:
Titchell ----> Lloyd
Tyson -----> Crouch Leaves $479,700

Option 2:
Titchell -----> Lloyd
Tyson ------> Robertson Leaves $549,000

Wondering if its worth spending the extra $70g for Crouch or is Robertson a safe enough bet to make him nearly as worthwhile? havnt seen enough of him to make an informed decision TBH...

I like the idea of bringing in Bartel and Lloyd. I'll be getting Lloyd this week and Bartel soon as well. But in your case it leaves round 8 looking a bit thin. Just 18 players there without the bye that week and that includes King or Smith who certainly won't be playing. It should be okay as long as you use your trades over the next 2 weeks to bolster round 8 a bit.

Good thing is I can do the Tyson to Swan trade and then decide on my other trade tomorrow.
Thanks for the advice

Need some advice. Outs this week hurting the midfield. Thought was to swap Ellis/Deledio for Billings/Premo Mid (Swan/Griff/S.Thompson) OR Thomas/Deledio and go for two Swan/Thompson whilst cheap and forget about R8.
$43.8k in the bank currently.
Any suggestions, especially ones that may help with the R8 bye which looks like crippling me.

I'm considering downgrading Hurn, upgrading Michie.

For Michie, should I upgrade to Swan, Griffin or Duncan? And for Hurn should I downgrade to Kolodjashnij or??? Otherwise, any other trade suggestions?

In terms of the bye, I have: a team I'll smash (R8), a team I should beat (R9) and a team that's better than me right now (R10).

$219, 900 in the bank.

That's some serious rd. 8 midfield pain

If you're not fussed about Round 8 and want Swan in, bring him in for sure. Swan or Griff definitely over S. Thompson imo. Mundy is very cheap right now too.
