I think this whole thing is exposing some flaws in CD’s algorithms. I’m absolutely loading up on rucks because even an underperforming lunchbox - provided he’s 6’7 - will be involved in the play, and might fall ass-backwards into an 80+ score. Whether he has the faintest impact on the result or not. Meanwhile big forwards can kick 5 and not get near a ton.

Look at them as full time midfielders up against the worst skilled player on the ground.

7,116 coaches have traded out a guy prior to his 53 on the weekend, Grundy's ave was 109.75. Only Gawn (ave 117.4) & English (avg 121.6) have higher averages than that currently. Grundy was up there with the top rucks. Food for thought maybe before letting him go and he’s up against my useless mob. 🔴⚫

Goneski for me.

Grundy was scored overs in those first 4 games prior to last week based on his output.

Grundy is not covering the ground as well as he has in the past. Plus the new Collingwood game plan has made him somewhat redundant in general play. This year they are taking the game on more.

So many other ruck options available at the moment for R2 and you can make a tidy amount of coin by downgrading Grundy and use the cash elsewhere.

Additional trades this year helps as well. Can always bring Grundy back in later in the year if he starts pumping out the 130's plus consistently.

I’m one of the only mfers left without Neale… I have the cash to get him but I’m so tempted to get Rory Laird instead. Am I foolish for second guessing Neale?

With under 1% ownership and the fact that Laird is an absolute pig who never ever gets tagged, I just think he’s an outstanding pick.

You only lose money, if you sell .....Grundy will respond, and reward his loyal followers

I hope he does.
Then I will know who to trade in at r2.
Right now it is Gawn then Daylight.
I reckon I prefer someone who will gain max cash.

Pretty much the only way laird would work out is if Neale got injured.
Laird is a gun but you are leaking points not having Neale.

Probably just Ward > Preuss this week.

Might skip Rosas.

Too many rookies still mooing.
Everyone should make their BEs.

Was thinking Rowell out for Rosas, but think I'll give him another chance to see if he can get a decent score. Otherwise he's gone next week.

Really want S.Hayes next week if he goes well again.
But can't see how to work it with Gawn, Grundy & Preuss

What to do with Bowey and Gibcus? From a BE point of view Bowey is tapped out this week but he'll start making money again from round 7. Gibcus still has more money to make as well.
I’m happy to hold Bowey with Melbourne’s next 3 games at the G. Last two games there 89 and 86 and looks to link up easily with the space available. (58 round 1 was with Salem and unsure of his role after the injury)

Happy to hold and upgrade around him until after round 8

Im gunna flip him after his round 14 bye to Stewart, Docherty or Dawson.

I wonder how folks who have blasted their boosts before upgrade season are going to fair.
I'm boosting the next 5 weeks.
Like a kid in a candy store.
rowell to rosas and grundy to preuss leaves me with 26 trades. 4 boosts and 630k to be increased by another 100 next week with hayes coming in.

you bet ill be like a fat kid in a food court with almost 3/4 mill in my pocket.

I’m leaning towards holding Grundy, I’ve got more holes in my team than a piece of Swiss sh!t ATM and have p!ssed enough trades up the wall.

Will likely dump Tyler Durdin for Mumford lite at R2 with the R3 loop of Willy Mayes Hayes and Dixie biscuit.

Will pass on Rosas and go for Port Hayes next week

Trade 1

Blakey out > NOD to defence > Martin to mids > Dixon to forwards > SHayes in.

A slightly risky business because it costs me my R/F link which means I can't use English or JHayes to cover Preuss. If Preuss misses for any reason I'll have to rely on SHayes. Lucky for me Preuss has missed his matches and is going to be a good boy for the rest of the season and definitely won't get injured.

Trade 2

JHF > Titch.

Holding Grundy, holding Rowell. Rowell's the next guy on the block unless he can punch out a ton but I'm half expecting it this week.

Leaves me with NOD at D5, Hinge at D6, Martin at M9, and JHayes at F6 with McCartin as F7/D7

Neale is a must have. Give yourself an uppercut for being so stubborn and get him in now before his next 180.
