Suggestions?

i dont think it is a good idea to trade in someone that is less than a premium, unless it is clear that they are on the way to becoming one soon. Clearly Hawkins is not a premium and it seems a bit rash to trade him in after 1 good game.

Consider which ruckman you could get to replace Hille. maybe look to upgrade him to Sandilands, Fraser, Cox...

I'd do that trade ASAP and get rid of Cooney. He's out injured, but even when he does return he'll be slow to resume and his price will plummet like a lead balloon.
Thanks mate :thumbsu:
Any suggestions on who i should get out of Dowler.Macaffer.J.Grant.Warren havent got a clue :p

My current team;

Defenders: Bowden, Ryder, Hodge, Houlihan, H Taylor, Rooke, Dawson (Suban, Raines)
Midfielders: Ablett, Bartel, Corey, J Selwood, Rich, Zaharakis (Ziebell, Beams)
Rucks: Cox, Hille (Pyke, Currie)
Forwards: Higgins, S Johnson, Brown, Deledio, J Riewoldt, Lucas, Garlett (Hogan, Ballantyne)

I have 16 trades left with $35,000. But I must make a note, I made this team having favourites and not taking it as seriously as my DT. But still winning and scoring 2,100 with Hille and Garlett on the field. I need to trade these now I feel.

Still, I'm starting to take it more seriously... You can't seem to go wrong with Geelong players... Hawkins will have a field day against Melbourne which will help him set up the rest of his season. :p

Just in case anyone has got him...

BRISBANE Lions midfielder Bradd Dalziell will miss the next three months with a knee injury.

The 22-year-old, recruited from East Fremantle, has become a ball magnet since his debut for the Lions in round 16 last season.

He gathered just 11 touches in the Lions’ 93 point loss to Geelong in an uncharacteristically quiet display, but what was initially thought to be a cork, has turned out to be a damaged posterior cruciate ligament.

Brisbane Lions coach Michael Voss said the midfielder would be out for a significant portion of the season with the injury.

“That is going to take a bit of time to heal,” Voss said.

“Having done one myself, they do take a little bit of time because you’ve got to make sure that the joint gets really tight and they scar up.”

Dalziell won’t require surgery but he’ll have to wear a knee brace and get around on crutches for some time, with an intensive rehabilitation period expected to take at least 12 weeks.

Haha, sure have... I can't complain though with them so far. :p Nah, never had Ottens luckily.

Rooke - 105
Q9 - 84
Bartel - 139
Selwood - 121
Corey - 69... Read More
Ablett - 149 (298 Captain)
Johnson - 69

Corey and Johnson down on averages...

Massive dilemma...

Unfortunately i have Harvey and Hille. With $22,800 in the bank.

Rucks - Hille & McIntosh - Spencer & Jacobs..

Forwards - Pavlich, O'Keefe, Higgins, Harvey, Deledio, Krakouer, Ziebell - M.Brown & T.Walker.

Has anyone got any suggestions on what i could possible do??
At the moment I am thinking..

Option 1 - Hille >> Kruezer & Harvey >> Goodwin/S.Johnson/J.Brown/Buddy

Option 2 - Hille >> Tippet & Harvey >> Davey/Chapman/Richo(depending on how serios injury is)

Which option do you think is best and which forward would you choose?? Or would you have an Option 3??

I'm leaning towards option 2 and getting Chapman.

Thoughts anyone? :D

P.s... I also have Cooney does anyone know if he'll be back this week??

I may just do:

Hille ---> Sandilands
Robbo ---> Collins/Barham

Be very wary prompts and anyone else considering a similar trade, Cousins and Cotchin will have to be fitted back in at some stage and Collins is currently performing below the others who'd be candidates to make way for them.

On top of that, Thomson will certainly get a run at some stage, plus Connors, Edwards, Hislop and Raines will be pushing for selection.

As decent as he's been, Collins may well only play a couple more games for the season.

Barham would have to be in the gun too with his very questionable disposal and the 'Pies struggling.

It's pretty likely you'd be trading trouble for trouble with either option IMO.

Fair enough mate, just don't make a fail poster of me if Buddy gets injured mid week! :p

Sorry that I let you all down noobs out there with my bad example of trading early. I will go sit out in the corner now and take 20 lashings for my Harvey > Franklin trade 5 days early. :D:thumbsu:
If you are going to sit in the corner and lash yourself please dont tell us!:eek:

Thanks mate :thumbsu:
Any suggestions on who i should get out of Dowler.Macaffer.J.Grant.Warren havent got a clue :p

It's pretty hard to tell who will stay in the team. I'd probably go Warren as he's been in the team for 2 games and probably more of a chance to remain now Harvey is out.

Petrenko down, Haselby up this week. Just realised i'm 2k off Bartel though.:mad:
Do i
A) Haselby-->Corey or another premium, leaving next to no money leftover
or
B) Haselby-->Deledio, leaving 80k leftover, probably enough to upgrade Houlihan/Krakouer/Rich if need be, potentially saving me a trade.

Opinions?

As disappointing as Deledio has been, I'd probably go with that option - would give you more flexibility and I think you will need to upgrade at least one of those three guys at one point. Plus, I always think of Corey as strictly a DTer.

I've been stingy with my trades so far but am getting an itchy trigger finger. I was going to upgrade Kurt Tippet but now his BE is very low so can hold off. The otehr guy I'm dying to upgrade is Jack Riewoldt but he had a decent game as well on the weekend an also a fairly low BE. I have some cash in the kitty but the only guy I could trade down in good conscience right now is Dangerfield - he probably hasn't maxed out but might not be too far off? Thnking maybe Dangerfield to Hartlett and Riewoldt to Buddy.

The other option might be to trade Travis Tuck for Picken and free up some more cash for later, but that might be a bit sideways.

Thoughts?

I'm thinking:

either:

Hasleby --> S. Black
Harvey --> Franklin/ROK/J.Brown

OR

Skipworth --> Rookie
Harvey --> Roo

The only trade I'll be making is Harvey to either Leon or Riewoldt. You could argue I've missed the boat on Leon (and I'm feeling the pinch, as at the start of the year my biggest choice was Ablett/Leon vs. Bartel/Harvey... I went the latter :rolleyes:), but he is in stellar form and is all quality...

Thinking about possibly throwing the axe at Malsexy, problem is with the logical cow sell i've got planned i'll only have 455k to spend meaning Gilbert is really my only option. Is he really gonna keep it up, looks to have changed his role and seems to be playing it well but i could have a lot of pie on my face if i pay almost premium price for someone that may need to be traded. Decisions...

Maybe hille > mcintosh

and

skippy > warren

Im stuck this week with Malceski a worry as well. Unsure of what to do, pretty sure i want Macca though.

Why was Warren's score so bad?

traded

Boomer >>>>>>>>> Roo
Hille >>>>>>>>> Gardiner

not sure yet but Roo has hit form and gardiners a bit of a risk but I needed the $$$ and could see him becoming a cash cow if the saints continue there form and King being injured
