WORDS? you mean they arent literally being flogged whilst chained to the stocks? How the fu** are they meant to perform now?
For the footballer today being dropped and not being in the best 22 - could be a disaster knowing the club could have you tagged to be moved on at the end of the year if you are not living up to expectations.
What I did like is Leathlean also called out Hill and Ross for there performances.

I was hoping that those guys that ran the Adelaide camp might be able to take them out bush and **** with their heads a bit. Put some pubes on them.

Company was called collective minds...

I've heard we hired them but the trip didn't last long.

They told the players we expected them to be on the bus at 7am. Several players pissed themselves at the mere thought of a deadline. One went into shock and another had an aneurysm and died.

Imagine how effective their “putting a song on repeat” technique would have worked with the Freo song?

The Crows at least had to deal with the Tigers song, and objectively, everyone loves the Tigers song.

We would have had to listen to the worst song in history, the abomination that is the Freo song.

After hearing “Freo heave ho” and “we’re the rollers and the rockers, we’re the mighty Freo Dockers” just a couple of times while doing sprints, no doubt our players would have been crying out in submission.

I think he’s probably behind Brown still but has much more scope to improve at his age. Brown was on his last season at best. Howard must have played good footy at Port for us to get such a hard on for him.
Howard and Brown totally different players as fullbacks , Howard is far more attacking and has been used forward and used in the ruck when needed.
Brown averaged 7 to 8 disposals a game and around 2 kicks and marks
Howard has averaged around 8 disposals this year but his 8 disposals are just about all kicks and averages over 4 marks a game
also Howard is 7th in disposal Efficiency , ● Ranked 5th in Total One Percenters in 2020 and was ranked ● Ranked 1st in One Percenters Per Game in 2018

The also filled in as captain last year for Port so the guy has leadership skills as well by the sounds , for a guy who has only played 50 games we have a good one here.

Is effort a result of poor coaching?
I want to make excuses for our effort, it’s much hotter and we’re still acclimatising plus the bus trip down to the GC is hardly ideal etc.

In reality what I saw is the usual suspects doing the same dissapointing things they often do. On a different subject Gresham must be carrying an injury, he was never a great kick even in the tac he kicked mongrel punts and generally his kicking lacked penetration. At present he’s lost 10 metres on his set shots, a couple of games back he ran out to the right to get more distance on a shot from about 35 out and didn’t make the distance.

I can only assume it’s something he can’t do any more damage to but it’s clearly limiting his impact.

Wonder if our capitulation against the Dockers was because of lockdown, one tends to forget that they went into lockdown only a week earlier & can’t even visit a coffee shop ( oh my gringo2011 what to do 🤪). Although at a resort, it is in the throes of renovation & they are the only ones staying there, hopefully it doesn’t continue onto this Monday.

“The Saints arrived into Queensland on Sunday night and are in lockdown for 14 days in the RACV Resort, which has been under construction and only reopened to accommodate the club.

They can only leave to use a training ground but have full use of the resort facilities, with it closed to the public, with the AFL footing the bill for accommodation and food.

On day 15 they will fly to Adelaide to take on the Crows and return to Noosa the following day.“

Every Victorian team in Queensland is under the same conditions as us.

Except we have an entire resort and its facilities to use during our quarantine while other clubs had sectioned off areas of resorts or were confined to standard hotel rooms.

Anybody read the propaganda on Saints.com.au about the 'brutal' review of R6?
What crap. Just words, words, words. Heard it all before.

I am a lot more positive. The team responded really well after the Collingwood game. I think it comes down to how the players respond at training and one or two specific omissions - yes I am thinking Ross!

Saints to win by SIX goals!

One of the things im sick of hearing is how we respond , here is a tip , have a crack for 4 quarters and you wont need to respond Saints

I like the optimism but we weren't expected to win either of the games between Collingwood and Richmond. Freo and Adelaide are meant to be our "freebies" so there is a heap more pressure on us after a last game's capitulation.

Dear St kilda football club,
Please stop putting so many words on your website.
Sincerely,
Joffaboy
As I posted before, I don't really care what you think TBH, so attempting a pitiful troll just makes you look even more ridiculous.

I don't see the point of playing Hannebery v Adelaide when a five day break will pretty much rule him out for the Port Adelaide game. Just give him the extra days and play him against Power.
As much as it would be great to have his experience on field, I agree. Look what happened when he came back after injury against Carlton, went down just before half time with this injury. Short turn around for games coming up, better to be cautious now and have the longer break to recover and play against Port.

The old joffaboy would have laughed at my post and even 'liked' it. I hope he comes back after a couple of good wins.

Saints to beat the camry cows by 40 and joffa to crack a smile :)

Got to remember also that Freo & Adelaide had been out of quarantine for some weeks now, even though our guys have been training etc. one would think a certain amount of lethargy would apply being in the same place all the time.
