By doing this we've given Richmond a fair opportunity to push Balta forward and teamed up with Lynch (and Riewoldt, Martin) our defence with Moore as our only genuine tall might be exposed badly.
I think Mcrae would know what he's doing with this game. Might be keen for the Tiges to look to take advantage by going tall against us. Lynch and Riewoldt are good players, but it's always been the ground level pressure and follow up from the mosquito fleet that have done the real damage for them

Keep up….My comment was referencing 2021. You know the year Buckley left. But had he not been moved on early that year. There is no way Ginnivan was debuting that year. Buckleys love affair with Thomas was well documented. With the amount of games he played…..

Bucks finished Round 13, exactly as I said. Ginnivan selected Round 19, exactly as I said. Could only be 2021. Maybe you could try keeping up. I’ll leave it there.

Okay, we win 10 games this year with WHE. I rather win 8 games with 2 youngsters playing 5-10 games.

Not saying WHE could change a game in 2022.

Why is it that others can’t seem to understand that WHE is not the difference maker. He is at best a list clogger now. In or out has no bearing on our win loss.

So isn’t it better to see who could be used i that spot. Than to keep playing a player that will inevitably be gone at years end.

Just to keep playing him because he might be a little better than others. At nearly 29 is just plain stupid.

Given how loose Moore and Howe have been I'm not convinced allowing the Tigers to stretch our defence even further will be a winning formula.

A wet and windy day will be welcomed.

Do you really want Madgen playing forward? That's different

I think that even Madgen could give us more versatility than what WHE is giving us currently. I just see no value to WHE in this current group of players.

Both Henry and McInnes are better. I think that we should be seeing what Poulter and Ruscoe have to offer. And even see what Harrison, Murley and Chugg are about. At some point this season. All rather than keep watching WHE run aimless away from the contests.

When Tiges were at their best, I always felt it was getting smalls in number swarming up forward that really made them pile on the goals.

I'm not saying that Hoskin Elliott needs to stay in but he would be a much better forward than Madgen, would like to see McInnes though

Now I know you’re just a dickhead. Bucks finished Round 13, exactly as I said. Ginnivan selected Round 19, exactly as I said. Could only be 2021. Maybe you could try keeping up. I’ll leave it there.

Yet you missed the “but had he not been moved on earlier that year” bit.

Just a question. You don’t happen to live at Indented Head by any chance?

Is it? What about the hawks dynasty, getting games into Gunston, buddy, roughy, rioli, Lewis, Smith, etc whilst moving on Croad, Rawlings, Dixon, Crawford, Harford etc

Or the Pies of 2010, with our move to the top level only achieved by playing young Sidey, Beams, wellingham, Reid etc… with the likes of Obree and Lockyer etc being replaced.

Or Richmond’s early success, with games pumped into an unknown mosquito fleet and developing defenders, revolutionising the way the game is played
I think all of the players you listed were showing obvious talent deserving of games, and in all of those instances the process was done in a balanced manner.

Of course they should be. Reef and Henry before WHE definitely my preference also. But I wouldn’t mind even if they give Madgen another crack at forward of the ball. As he might surprise in that role. Just like Mihochek did and the rest is history for Checkers.

Ginnivan wasn’t even available to play VFL rounds 5-10 in 2021 so couldn’t have been selected. Form was indifferent prior to that. Returned round 11, played 3 games, kicked 11 goals, got promoted. You’re just making up shit to suit a narrative.

I live rent free in your head by the look of things.

You’ll see the light sooner rather than later. WHE won’t be able to keep Reef and Henry out for much longer. And sure as hell they won’t be using WHE as a sub. God help us….

So I’m predicting that after round 14. WHE will be finding it hard to justify his spot in the seniors. If not earlier.

I hope you’re right that REEF or HENRY perform well enough and EARN the right to replace WHE.
It’s a win win all round for the team.

Even the poster you are agreeing with thinks WHE is a difference maker. He freely believes we will win fewer games with him out of the side, and wants that to happen.

He’s not a difference maker 😂 Its just people on here seem to think me saying “play kids” = I don’t care about winning and want to lose because these kids won’t be able to give us “the same as WHE”.

I don’t think WHE makes any difference.

Posters on the board think WHE impacts the game - I definitely do not.

I hope he knows what he’s doing. Only a month ago he played the tallest team in history with about seven players over 200 cm and now we are going in with short people. I appreciate injury has dictated terms a bit but todays backline prevents Moore and Howe and even Pendlebury from playing their natural attacking games, as they will have to play more defensively in the absence of Madgen . It will be interesting how they structure it. Maybe WHE goes back, he has the height and mobility for the conditions, has has played well in the past in the backline.

We aren’t tanking to make you feel better about life. If you want to watch our second best side play , go and watch the VFL .

The seniors are littered with a good mix of experience and fresh blood. We can’t and we won’t and we shouldn’t play all the kids and get rid of 29-30 year olds just because someone on BigFooty says the premiership window is three years away.

Besides, apart from Grundy and Elliott being injured, our selected team today wouldn’t be a world away from best 22.

You want us to lose games. You said it. Credibility zero.

We also aren’t a world away from being a finals team this year. Win today we are two games clear in the eight and only percentage away from top four, depending how other results go. How people can throw in the towel and say let’s drop our senior players and bring in even more kids, because we are winning too many games in 2022 …..when our window is three years away…….is mind boggling.

I'm not sure why you think Madgen out means a big shift with these guys playing more defensively. It's the defence that we had in the first couple of games of the season, but with Maynard in instead of Madge.
