Amazing what a few incorrect calls, then a few unpaid frees to us, ontop of a soft 50 can do to you.. In the end it was our own fault, we left the margin go out so far in the first quarter and now we're paying the price.

For an experienced player, Dal's lack of composure and awareness going forward when he took those bounces and allowed a WC player to gain on him was startling. Saad running into an Eagles brick wall, I understand more as he got a rush of blood and is a new player. Those two passages of play killed us off once and for all though unfortunately.

Well, we've come back well in the second half, but it counts for **** all if you're deplorable in the first half, which we were. You can't win against a good side if you turn up for a half of football.

The comeback was good while it lasted though.

Watching Wet Toast today, they really are the duckers they've been accused of being. Good that the umpires woke up to that a bit today, but there was still plenty of home ground advantage.

Don't know if there is such thing, but I can say that I'm happy with the 2nd half effort and that is all I was asking for at half time after we had buried ourselves in the 1st.

We gave them a decent run in the end with no ruck and 2 men bench and a second half filled with umpire shocking decisions. That's very nice considering we were at Subiaco.

Stanley's hammy didn't look too bad, hopefully just precautionary, if not 1-2 weeks?

We did alright, but we're going nowhere if we play a first half like that against anyone half decent.

Echo the sentiment about it being good to see Crippa come back. Loved him today, we have to try and fit him in somehow although he may be squeezed out.
