Appleby was the travelling emergency to Brisbane and had been our best VFL player up to that point. He would have taken Aish's spot on Anzac Day had he not done his ankle.

Do the math.
Wills played his first game in 16 months and just his 7th career game. Reid's a premiership player with nearly 150 games experience.
Wills job was to stop the game's best midfielder. Reid's job was to get the ball.
