Re: Round 11 Trades

Just did:

Howlett to Gyberts
L.Ball to Judd

Luke was going to drop ~25k this week anyway so no harm in dropping Howlett early for Gysberts. Gysberts hopefully will hold his spot

Re: Round 11 Trades

how bad is this idea????

Ablet out to trade in montagna save 150k and there is only like 26 points avg diff. Or even Dal Santo whos last 3 games have averaged 131.

Na a work mate was trying to tell me it was a good idea. I cant see the sense in it considering he will get a 175 vs WC. ill just bring in Goodes for Ziebell.

Worth trading Gram to Gilbert this week? I can get Gilbee next week if he scores 99 or less. Or should I just stick out his injury and run with Davis/Webberley?

10 trades and $76,000.

Cheers. :thumbsu:
I would definately go Gram > Gilbert...
Gram wont be back for at least 4 weeks and you also have 1 more upgrade to do in your back line, 1 of Waters/Maguire for Gilbee..
I would also look at offloading Ball, you might have to use Gumby to upgrade Ball to a prem..
Overall, you are in a really good position, but this week Gram > Gilbert is a must...

In that case, your mate should be an easy win in the league if he trades like that. :p

Ziebell to Goodes is a good trade IMO, Goodes won't be any cheaper than he is at the moment and looks to be picking up score wise, i think a real big score from him is just around the corner.

Re: Round 11 Trades

martin to gysberts
hitchcock/gumby to deledio.

thoughts?
I wish Deledio was a fwd, could have picked up a Dane Swan or something in my midfield then.
Good luck at finding Deledio for the Hitchcock/Gumby trade :D

If you really want Deledio, you will have to use Martin for that.... Lids is only a midfielder..

Thanks mate, really appreciate the feedback. :thumbsu:

Do you think Gilbert is the best option? Newman, Hurn, Duffield, Grimes, Fisher, Grundy, Malceski etc are all available..

Hmm.

Hmm.

Wouldn't touch Newman, he's been as bad as Boomer Harvey this year, been like a yo-yo! Hurn has had a few poor scores lately, but he does get a consistent 100 from 15 touches, very effiecient. Duffield seems pretty popular to bring in, Can't really comment on Grimes and Fisher. Grundy is kind of a poor mans Lake, can take a lot of marks from opposition kicks. Malceski, 2 of his last 3 weeks have been a little indifferent, in the rain against the Bombers he could pull out another iffy score, but he was really, really solid for the first 7 weeks. Got a lot of options to contend with mate!

Re: Round 11 Trades

i traded kennelly out for nick suban and now have a total of $231,500 in the bank, should I

a) Upgrade Barlow to Ablett
b) Upgrade Sidebottom to either Judd/Montagna
c) Upgrade Brent Harvey to Pavlich
d) Upgrade either O'Keefe or Brown to a higher priced forward

Personally I think i'll persist with Brown and O'Keefe, and am willing to keep barlow for the mean time. Which leaves options b and c. I'm probably leaning torwards c, due to harvey's inconsistency but i'm not really sure.

If anyone could suggest something it would be much appreciated

Definitely scratch out A and D for me. Flip a coin between B and C though.

Harvey has been a little iffy at the moment, he is a great player that can score well, but you ARE trading in Pavlich who is a gun.

Can't fault B in any way. Upgrading a midpriced player to a premium is a win in anyones books.

Hard to say, i'd lean towards B in the hope Harvey can put together some nice scores. But not having Pavlich in your team would hurt a little.

Re: Round 11 Trades

i have vince, howlett and shuey in my mids. im going to cop a zero if i dont do something.
considering going Howlett or Shuey to Mcneil.. Which would allow me to use mpp to move goodes into the mids and gumbleton onto the ground.
Shuey or Howlett out? or wait a week and see how shuey's illness is?

I really think Gilbert is the best option, he is being used in the quater back role and he uses the ball well, gets lots of it and takes a fair few marks as well... He is the front runner out of all those options you gave me IMO..
I want this boy in my team as well, but I am have to wait, just hope he doesnt score massive over the next few weeks, i'd be happy with a few 80s :D...

Traded him in about 5 minutes ago, I like this post! :thumbsu:

Re: Round 11 Trades

Current back line is pretty similar to others:

Goddard Hodge Enright Shaw Waters Goose Davis (Kennelly Webberly)

Was planning on trading Kennelly to Fisher.... Ive had fisher the last two years and seems to be pretty consistent.

Thoughts?
