I see that I.Smith has a 96 point average where as J.Riewoldt doesn't.

Case closed. Waste of $300,000 + sitting on your bench.

Both Broughton & J Riewoldt are in your best side though. U very jelly.

You obviously haven't grasped the bye concept yet either, there's very few weeks left this year that my D8/F8 won't be onfield.

Not like i'd take advice from a supecoach hack anyway

2011: 3000 something with 10 weeks to go, I'd be surprised if you stayed within the top 5000, given you've only just realised that there are byes this year

I suspected he was taking the piss as well so I called him out on it. He posted his side and it turns out he is for real. He really is that bad. I kind of felt like I had punched a blind child in the face... That being said I don’t know how someone can spend so much time on these forums and somehow manage to not absorb even the slightest amount of knowledge. I think he just uses this place as somewhere to let the world know about his f*ck ups. Meh.

Hey guys, with all this talk about premium MPP cover, it has got me worried!

Anyway, my team is:

DEF: Scotland, Deledio, Fisher, Gibbs, Goddard, Shaw, Heppell
(Puopolo, Batchelor, Toy)

MID: Boyd, Pendles, Judd, Ablett, Swan, Hodge
(Hibberd, Prestia, Callinan)

RUCK: Petrie, Smith
(Cox, McCauley)

FWD: Pavlich, O'keefe, Sylvia, Goodes, Franklin, Chapman, Smith
(Mzungu, Lynch, Tippett)

As I said before, I have $228 800 left with 4 trades, rank of 328. Would like to bring Birchall in this week, but now I would love to get Boomer in for MPP cover (insufficient funds however).

What do you lads see as my best options with these remaining trades?

Well all I can say is that I have 3 players that are playing on my back bench, midfield bench and forward bench. Can anyone else say that?

Don't worry ArseStrap, I'll take my chances with what I have and am quite happy with my bench cover. Heck even Lobbe scored 78 on the weekend as the sole ruckman for Port.

Whilst premium MPP cover is important, I think it is wise to assess each team on it's own merits.

For me, I got pretty lucky with my starting rookies and am now in a position to cash in on that, but others will have different issues for their sides at this point in time.

I think if you have 6+ trades and a full side, then sure go for it I reckon, but there is a lot to be said for hanging on to those trades also. I have decided to go with the aggressive approach, but having a couple of trades up your sleeve down the track could be more important than the points gained via the extra premium.

I have always liked to keep a couple of trades for the final few rounds, but it really depends on where you sit and whether you are prepared to roll the dice and possibly get donuts down the track or do you play it a bit safer with a more likely chance of maintaining your high ranking in the end.

Horses for courses I think.

could upgrade someone else big dawes average is about 90 chappy and sylvia average about 100.for the 10% diff it's a kinda waste of time.

As of last week, yes. Only misses were byes or suspensions. BTW I've got Fyfe as bench cover as of this week.
