After quarter time, we looked amazing. Could do little wrong.

However...Essendon did that thing they do where they just stop running and applying pressure.

Our disposal efficiency was in the mid 80s when we blew them away. They applied absolutely no pressure. It wasnt us magically making miraculois kicks. It was us having endless free players while Essendon plodded about not giving a s**t.

Essendon made us look a million bucks and just exposed the talent we know we have. A better team doesnt allow that and that is why we never win when it counts. We need to unlock that talent against better sides. Under Hinkley that just doesnt happen when we get challenged. We even saw that in the first quarter plain as day.
And you can guarantee that the Fremantle game will be completely different to last Friday night. They came within an ace of knocking off one of the premiership fancies, so Saturday night is a real test of how good we really are. Nailing critical set shots would be a nice start!!!

Embarrassing stuff.

He talks like he’s the owner of Sorbent, grooming the next CEO or COO from within to replace a retiring company man, with the lone brief to keep the ship steady and continue executing strategies that have worked in the toilet paper industry for 100 years.

No need to innovate, take risks or divert from the plan — “we briefly headhunted one guy who suggested we wipe back to front with frozen pizza! No thankyou!”

If a time traveller tapped him on the shoulder and said, “over the next ten seasons of Hinkley2Carr we finish 5th, 8th, 4th, 9th, 10th, 8th, 5th, 7th, 10th, 4th; with average crowds of 35,000 and a membership of 60,000”, he’d happily take it.

Gleefully, giddily take it.

When it comes to elite sport and this football club in particular, he has absolutely no idea.

This is the exact reason we struggle as a footy club. It's the clubs responsibility to seek out the best person suited to the job, they are responsible to their members and the club to do their due diligence in hiring the the best, not hiring the guy that has been trained to tow the company narrative.

Toilet tissue david lmao

What's happened to "dancing Kenny" on the boundary line? Looks pretty tense this year. Camera not on him enough?
Lol, cuddlier for longer.

Hinkley and the club’s narrative has changed this year with regards to a handover.

Always thought this would be his last contract. Will be interesting to see what happens.
Has the club's narrative changed? I haven't heard anyone from the club acknowledge the succession plan since denying it last August when this story first emerged.

"All things being equal, Ken Hinkley will coach this year, next year, and then he will stand aside for Josh Carr."

Caroline Wilson says there's a handshake agreement for a coaching succession plan at Port, and kane Cornes isn't impressed

Handshake agreements are meaningless

Carr got duped

Geez just shut up Kane, "The supporter group has a little bit of fatigue with Ken Hinkley." Wrong - our fatigue with this clown has gone on for at least 7 years, and we just want it to end.

Yeah I absolutely wouldn't trust them if I was Carr.

Funny, now Josh is being toted for Kens job Kanes all "what about other coaches? What if Chris Scott is available?" Didn't seem bothered when Dimma or Clarkson were available?

I actually agree that we shouldn't necessarily harness ourselves to Carr, but my god that is rich coming from Kane.

Oh, and apparently Ports problem is the club listens to the supporters too much, and this potential coaching replacement is bring driven by that!

Objectively and demonstrably untrue.

Madness, what a muppet!
