In regards to Hinkley, I will only dance when he's officially sacked.

Up until then, I don't really believe anything coming out of Koch and the PAFC at all.

I hope Ken and Jordy pack their bags tomorrow but the administration is so inept that Kenny Twenty is also possible.

I don't know if Craig McRae turning the Pies around in two seasons has changed the board.

I don't know if the fans laughing at Ken has helped.

I don't know if the record of Bill Stephen approaching is helping. You would think that coaching a club for 250 games would be celebrated and there would be an article on the official site but the media like Rucci reported nothing. The club usually celebrates milestones but there may be an air of embarrassment with Kenny now.

As someone stated previously, a 30 for 30 of the Ken Hinkley run would be amazing. I think a few years down the track the rogues gallery in charge, all of them, will be seen in a very poor light.

For some reason, I really want to know what Jasper Pittard has to say on the matter. There is a Youtube video in the early days before the game and Kenny is going around to different players and having a chat and when Kenny goes over to Jasper, you really get the feeling that Jasper is taking the absolute pee out of Kenny, just in the way he stand and his responses, like he knows Kenny is going to say the most generic lame thing he gives it an over the top attention that it didn't deserve.
What was embarrassing was it took north 2 years to find out what we couldn’t work out for the best part of 7 years and over 100 games and countless ****ups

I’ve previously had an exchange with an otherwise perfectly rational Port fan who acknowledged that One Club, Adelaide Oval and the multimedia rights deal to 2017 or 2018 (predicated on 18 teams including 2 SA licenses) were already locked away before Koch/Hinkley arrived, but she STILL claimed the club would’ve folded/relegated if not for the two of them.

It’s like, how? Why? What?!
Whereas I would argue that those 2 have actually killed many aspects of the club:
  • they've killed my desire to go to the footy
  • they've killed many club traditions
  • they've killed the long held view at Alberton that anything short of premiership success is acceptable
I could go on, but you get the idea........

It took Sydney 7 games to conclude Sam Gray wasn’t it (96 at Port Adelaide over 6 seasons).

And how many games did Jake Neade (66 at Port Adelaide over 6 seasons) play for North Adelaide before they relegated him to the ressies?

I'd call that a small fight in their relationship, Dixon and Hinkley still text goodnight and goodmorning to each other.
Ken probably talks about dogs and Dixon talks about cars and neither really listens to the other and they have a cuddle

Add Cam O'Shea at Carlton to this list. Also Matt Thomas at Richmond, but in fairness that one wasn't Hinkley's fault.

It seems like other teams go in with an attitude of "well if Ken Hinkley the man who saved Port Power thought this bloke was good enough to play 80 games, what a horrible list management decision to delist him!" And then the player gets there and continues to suck and it's "oh. Turns out Ken Hinkley is an idiot".

This is the reason Jed McEntee will 'earn' a couple of extra years of AFL salary playing in the state leagues in 2026 and 2027. And the reverse of this is the reason that one of the best tap rucks in Australia is playing VFL this season. And why Dylan Williams might be playing VFL next season.

Can the individual who made these great graphics come back please

They retired. I believe the story is Ken Oath smooth brains attempted to dox them but inadvertantly did it to the wrong person and threatened to release the info anyway unless they stopped.

If I've got that wrong and there's Anyone Learned, You eXplain?

Not sure about this one. Cam O Shea is really similar in skill level and athletic ability to Cam O Shea... you know who else was similar to Cam O Shea? Stephen Silvagni. And he had a pretty decent run.
