Half time of the melb / norf game and walk into the room to catch them showing clips of the Hinkley presser and a couple of lines about us and there’s just zero care factor from them.

Hinkley could set fire to Alberton and barely raise an eyebrow across the border.

We’re not going to get anywhere until this club is owned by the fans. Reckon I’ll email them and let them know I’m not coming back until that happens - tho I know it will mean nothing to them) We all know Hinkley will sail away eventually (prob with a pat on the back and thank you) but it will only be a matter of time, whether that’s 1 or 10 years later where we find ourselves in the same position again.

As a fan base we have zero teeth because we cannot control our board like other teams in this competition can.

There’s no reason for anyone to listen to us.
THIS, there is no way we are going anywhere under this structure, we need a member appointed board, why the F do the AFL still own us - its a conspiracy I say!

Alright chaps, numbers have been crunched. Here are the post counts for the first 10 parts of sack Hinkley... (Let's not forget there was also the precursor "I've lost my faith" threads..)

Part 1 - 9999
2 - 9999
3 - 9998
4 - 9938
5 - 9900
6 - 9991
7 - 9984
8 - 9910

So whichever campaigner gets post 482 in this thread gets the magical 100,000th post and maybe a special badge or some shit. Or just internet cred.

PS sack Hinkley

(Sidenote: there are another 22,453 posts in the I've lost my faith in ken Hinkley threads)

Travis Boak cops his share of criticism on this board, but i'd argue that in 2013 and 2014 he was an absolute jet and an incredible leader of a young side, fast becoming a club great. Not the most gifted player to ever grace a field, but an incredible work ethic, and a drive to squeeze everything he could from his body. Then he just plateaued, like SO many other players under Hinkley who didn't possess the incredible natural talents of a Robbie Gray. Players like Boak would have thrived under a good coach, but how many players' careers just stalled under Hinkley when their natural ability couldn't take them much further? Ken Hinkley couldn't harness the sun if he lived in a glasshouse on Mercury.
It's even happening to JHF - the kid desperately needs a new coach NOW: NOT at the end of the year.

I'm sick of the excuses, the double standards, the gaslighting etc that seems to occur year, upon year, upon year.

I know for a fact that Hinkley has already been telling anyone who will listen to him within the footy department that the personnel in the forward line is not good enough to compete for a flag, and he's using that as an excuse to (hopefully in his eyes) piggyback himself to another year in the job.
.
Lol. This is literally just him being surprised that we can't bomb it to Dixon anymore and hasn't found someone else to bomb it too.
Having said that based on past evidence we'll probably keep ken and trade away another future first and change to pick up a couple of tall forwards not getting a game at another club

I have felt this feeling before... ...
Not like this .. .not like this.

According to our CEO, AFL is not in control of PAFC, its Kochie and his elected board members. AFL just signs off on the Kochie recommendations.

As stubborn as Choco.

At least Primus tried stuff, stupid stuff, reactive stuff, but it was something.

He defends every question with "I've spent a lot of time in footy"

Kens biggest downfall is himself and his attitude at times. He is a good astute coach, but a stubborn man. That won't cut it in this industry.

The campaigner wheeled out the "I've been in foody a long time" again almost a decade later lmao

Same Same, AFL annoints the chair to do their job, he is a puppet. And Until the board is a true member representative board, we are going nowhere. THis is what we should be challenging at AGM

100% agree and needs to be voiced every opportunity in front of a club official.

As unfortunate as it sounds, if we want change, we have to want the Club to continue to lose. We need the Club to become such a rabble on-field that the only recourse is for the Board to act and for Ken to be moved on.
And in addition to this, we need to stop attacking players who have clearly moved on from this season already. They are doing what they should be doing for the good of the club.
