I think some people might need to temper their expectations.

The board currently has an emphasis on being very frugal (a city hall directive), there is no way that city hall will endorse a substantial pay out.
Well as i said before.

Time for Koch to dig deep into his own pockets to fix this mess that he has made.

Well this is what FAA said:

Port Adelaide chairman David Koch says every position at the club will be reviewed at the end of the season, including Ken Hinkley’s position as senior coach.

But AFL.com said this:

Koch admits missing the finals would be another failed season but insists the end-of-year review won't necessarily carry added heat for Hinkley.

I'm getting mixed messages :l

To be fair you can't blame Hinkley for that. He would not be playing Hartlett unless the medical staff had given him the all clear.
No. At this stage I have lost all reason and I’m prepared to blame Hinkley for the housing crisis, increased flu deaths and reality tv as well as Port Adelaide ridiculously underachieving

Oohhhhhhhhhhhhh, we are going to have another end of year review. That'll scare them David.

This Club really does think every single supporter has no idea and a few words from the President or CEO, throw in a couple of draft picks, maybe a C/B grader from somewhere where they are not wanted - to prove how much belief there is in 'our' ways - and we'll be right back here again next year playing to crowds of 10-15k.

Koch is weak, has no idea on anything football, and is the cause of where we are now.

It would be counter productive to go cap in hand to the AFL asking for more soft cap spend, while at the same time having to pay out 2 years.
Maybe it will only be a 12 month payout and an agreement reached with Ken?
Surely the AFL notice diminishing crowds? This hurts the AFL big time.
C'mon give me something positive C4 : )

Oh ummm... yeah one year and umm .. errrrrrr Clarkson comes home and takes over :)

If we couldn't scrape in to the 8 in 2015 when we genuinely had the potential to do damage, or even in 2018, there's no way we get in this year with out dumpster fire of a year thus far. The gods simply will not have it.

He won’t be gettting sacked.

It’s about what’s best for the club going forward. 27K on a sat night at Adelaide Oval against a good opposition in perfect conditions. Not long ago that was comfortably over 40K.

The club is massively down on membership revenue, the AFL want us to be frugal but will happily watch us bleed money ?

Solution: don't read the headlines, read the content.

The headlines are just whatever spin the media wants to put on what was said.

I'm more concerned about the lack of autonomy at the club, we're basically run by the AFL. Which means making up the numbers.

Lol I read this as lack of anatomy, maybe because no one at the club has any balls. :p
