I just read up on what Koch said. If he's willing to make the right decisions then I think he can keep his job.
The equation is simple now, we make finals and Ken stays as the senior coach, if not he will go. As long as Koch keeps his word the future should be a win-win for the club.

I think some people might need to temper their expectations.
The board currently has an emphasis on being very frugal (a city hall directive), there is no way that city hall will endorse a substantial pay out.
No team incapable of winning at least half its games should be permitted to play football balls. 10 wins from a possible 22 and qualifying is just pathetic.

It would be counter productive to go cap in hand to the AFL asking for more soft cap spend, while at the same time having to pay out 2 years.
The minimum standard shouldnt be just making finals, it should be making a serious run in the finals and being a real contender for the flag.
Anything else is unacceptable.
But dick heads like Koch KT Ken have no idea.
Because they have their wonderful survey that the majority of the 55000 members are band wagoning dick heads like Koch.
So whats actually important isnt getting through to these dick heads, and even when it does through social media, they brush it aside because the survey says otherwise.
