We only have 2 midfielders in Macrae and Marshall imo they should stay together.
Hopefully the King turns up next week.

Steele is well of his best , but he's still performing way above average.
He's honestly their closest thing to Lenny.
Just they got Bont in addition ...
Will love him for however many years we get. Hopefully it's close to 150 games
Feel Steele will get better , he has the grit and determination - as well Lyon pushing him - only early on in the season hopefully he gets back to his best because if we have 2 Macrae and Steele firing we will win a lot of games.

You got more free kicks at our home ground despite us being the better team for most of the night which we never get in Geelong.
We had 8 players with over 100 Supercoach points and they had none which shows how much we dominated that game tonight.
If they had won that game it would have been highway f***ing robbery, thankfully we held on and got the win that we deserved,

Agreed some of his one efforts were really good , stuff you don’t normally see from him
Totally duded last year - basically wrote him off
Has been one of the best mids for years and then last year played him out of position and dropped to the 2s.
We scored getting him , if only for a couple years it will be a massive help for Phillipou and co to learn off one of the best

I thought he was good tonight. He wasn't standing out but he was standing up. I went hard on him after last week but he played a good solid game.
Hill needs to lift , he is paid to do more than 1% - unseen in the last half
Hill when on his game is very damaging , we need him at the top of his game - one thing we can take from the game is he improved from last week like a lot of the players.

RTB keeping a lid on it in his after game presser, he doesn't look that happy but I think he's quietly pleased with our effort tonight.
You couldn't fault our effort but we made some poor skill errors especially in the last quarter, there is still room for improvement
