Game Day Saints versus Hawks, Bounce @ 2:10pm

Stupid turnovers and mistakes has killed our momentum, need to regroup at half time and hit them hard again.

We look like the better team, we've just got to have the belief in ourselves and not get spooked into making dumb mistakes.

The Hawks are a good team but they aren't invincible, they win a lot of games because opposition teams get intimidated and lack belief they can beat them.

We're good enough to beat them, we just need believe it.

Great quarter: considering we have pretty much handed them 4 goals on a platter we should be comfortably ahead. So many positives from our young fellas.

Need someone to go head to head with Mitchell, it's all to easy for him at the moment.

Our game plan is really coming on leaps and bounds, just gotta get the skills right and we can really hurt the opposition.

Great effort guys - very good half only let down by 3 or so really bad turnovers in the back half which was costly

It's been 5 goals that we've gifted them from our disastrous turnovers in the back half (Savage, Lee and Billings poor turnovers by foot in the first quarter and then Fisher's in the 2nd and then Geary's HTB). Shooting ourselves in the foot something shocking. They've only gotten two goals that weren't from our turnovers and none of our 3 in the first quarter were under huge pressure and they were from arguably our 3 best kicks.

Much better quarter then by Lee though. Did some very good things. Needs to tidy his kicking up a touch though.

Difference between the 2 teams is basically experience IMO. Can't fault the effort.

They aren't the greatest for clearances or winning the ball, but they'll kill us when we stuff up and they wont make the same mistakes .

How's Tom Lee going?

Looked like someone who was playing his first game in almost two years, against the best team in the comp, in the first quarter, but was a lot better in the 2nd. I liked the look of him that quarter and he seems to position himself well to intercept. Did one terrific play when boxed in on the far wing that quarter where he got through some very heavy traffic to get his kick forward.

It's a good sign. We can fix turnovers. They were all under very little pressure so it just needs a bit more composure.
