Seriously, Bobby put in the worst performance since i can remember last week. His form has been very good before that. With the first full pre season in 4 years behind him and having his speed and agility back to as good as ever he will be a keeper IMO

IF you must trade then at least make some cash and go Rock or Pods

Definitely do the 2 that I highlighted as Tippet and Masten are underperforming the most and Tippet will lose heaps of cash still.

Agreed...though you see when you have Pods and Rocky already, the question of who to trade Tippett for becomes much harder

Agree with Dan Hunt is doing his job not worth trading out - injuries will come and you will need the trades. Gumby is getting a game as well, as a bench fwd it is a sideways trade

I'm hoping the Crows spell Tippett. I had considered Jolly if he is a ruck, but as a fwd I just dunno. Astbury? Nothing too exciting, to be sure.

I think everyone needs to take a deep breath. Whilst there are some resonable rookies out there that are on the brink of a price rise, it's not like they are going to be the only rookies that will play this year. Don't feel like you HAVE to trade. Pods, Rockliff, Schmidt have all scored well but there will be others.

Yeah I agree, however when you are like me and you still have Tippett then looking for a downgrade to say a Pods to make cash and upgrade a mid price player such as Ballantyne to a Pav, then I guess I should take advantage before Tippett the hack loses me more cash. Even if it leaves me with two rookies as my 6th & 7th fwd in Pods and Rockcliff.

Goodwin > Goddard
Really regret turning my back on goddard after his preseason for is it to early to jump of him(Goodwin)???

And also just a question I traded in Bilbo Ballantyne Rd2 is it to early to jump off should i wait and see(expecially with richmond next week) and the other one was hitchcock > Rockliff is it to risky. so many SC questions running through my mind

Downgrade him to rockliff take the risk having 6, 7, 8, 9 forward spots rookie filled and upgrade gia/goodwin to a gun

Really don't think it's worth selling Silvagni for one of those players mentioned.

And it is way too early to jump off Ballantyne. You're stuck with Ballantyne now, and stuck without Hall.

Try not to waste trades.

Talked myself out of getting Pods for as I've already got Rockliff, Gumby & Hitch...
But, ATM my rucks are Nic Nat & Hille.. Do you think it's a good time to trade Hille to Cox or Sandi?
What's thoughts of a Cox & Naitanui as a Ruck combo in Sc??

No trades this week. Won't be trading for Pods or Rockcliff.

Have Gumby and Duncan on the bench and they haven't peaked yet

Not sold on Hawkins, Mooney and Pods all getting a game and I reckon Pods has to kick 4 or 5 a game to keep killing it. Can't see that happening.

Rockcliff will have a fight on his hands with a few returning Lions in the next few weeks. Especially if they lose a game. He'll be one of the first outs.

This all may not be the case and they are pessimistic but it's still enough for me not to burn a trade.

some good points but hille i see has greater scoring potential than seaby. Realistacly seaby is not swans no.1 ruck the big mummy is IMO and with ryder playing fwd it has given hille more time in the ruck and around the ground... I donno mabye iv got my black and red glasses on

And Sandi V Cox is interesting Cox is very underpriced and is getting better and better but hes not sandi. In past seasons he may have been better in past seasons but sandi is the one to go out of those guys

Cox is a risk, getting fitter but could easily re-injure

Masten could be a lock. Played HFF but with Kerr out 12 weeks is likely to be playing on the ball.

For me, I'm on 19 and will double trade Hunt >Schmidt if selected and Ziebel to Didak. Gives me one more lock and I have McGuire and Hunt currently on the bench.

ballantyne = rockliff + $190,000
silvagni = schmidt + $127,000

are these trades worth it as my fourth and fifth for the year?? it will take my bank balance to 380,000 which i can use to upgrade a hitchcock to buddy and still hav change in a few weeks.

I'm not looking to trade this week, as much as I'm tempted to make the forward line downgrades of Pods and Rockliff, I think it's more valuable to save your trades and wait until Silvagni and Ballantyne peak as there will be other rookie upgradess to come. Also, if Rockliff and Pods were to be booted in the next few weeks then you'll be one of the few to have not jumped the gun early and get more value from your rookies.

If Pods scores big though that's a massive cash increase, but unless you have 18-20 trades left I wouldn't jump on it too early. Could pay off but waiting will be better long term.

Just hoping I could get some help in making my next couple of trades over the next couple of weeks - saving them this week.

Haven't scored high the last two weeks with 2069 and 1986 but just needing a few thoughts on where my weaknesses are. I'm thinking Ball & Martin > Judd/Montagna/Swan/Murphy and Josh Hunt > Gilbee/Shaw. Ballantyne > Goodes could also be on the cards soon depending on his form and price drop. Where do I upgrade first? Got 5 decent cash cows so looking to wait until they peak.

Roberts is dead wood for you Moonie. Burn a trade for either Rocky or Pods. The benchies are there for you to make cash and/or at least provide cover. Roberts is doing neither, just eating salad rolls.

I have Rocky, Gumby and Hitchy ATM. Thinking about a Pods trade if Hitchy gets the boot. I hate ditching rookie before they max out, which is why i can't understand guys wanting to upgrade Silvangi (79 ave) or Goose (75 ave, almost a rookie again).

I hope Hitchcock is named because I need an excuse not to trade him out yet.

I (perhaps foolishly) have kept faith in Mitch Robinson and it looks likely that he won't repay me, and might in fact get dropped this week. Don't have the cash ot upgrade to someone decent, but considering Kane Lucas and pocketing the cash.

Roberts will play again sometime this year. Hitchcock may have ran his race. Podsa most likely to come in for him. Especially if Steve Motlop is put on the LTI. Also have the Masten issue, but not sure which trade is better. Masten > Lucas or Hitchcock > Podsa for a starting birth.
