When I lived in Darwin, one of the guys had a 260Z - also with no aircon. Twice a week he had to spend the morning in an aircraft hanger with no aircon and then drive to the office. When he arrived, he looked like he had swam there.

The weather in the dry season in Darwin is gorgeous. The family and I used to go up for a couple of weeks in July every year. If I saw a cloud in the sky I would photograph it. Zero humidity, never over 32 and never below 18 at night.

Same here. Those things are apparently made of solid gold, judging from the cost here in the States.

The only "good" thing on that front is that the boomers are now facing mortality, and auctioning off all their car stuff hoarded over decades. Tri-5 Chevies have come way down in price last 3 years or so.

I had one(240Z) and did a swop with a very carious panel beater. We both fix holes. His caused by bacteria. Mine by rust. He fell in love with the car and refused to give it back after he finished the restoration, offering more and more for it.

He refused to let me see the completed job until we came to an agreed price as he said I would never sell it if I saw it. Marriage and kids on the way but I should have garaged it properly up at the farm at Derrinal.
