How good was Dev........Matho seemed quiet. McStay was brilliant and half arsed all at once. Payne......Good! Wilmot very promising.
Robbo looked like he struggled. Rich, quiet. His Kicking has gone off a bit. Cal didn't look 100 percent to me. Zorks was OK(i think) tho he didn't seem that damaging.

I'm not going to sleep

Joe was terrible tonight.

Again.

So Big O out for Fort. Joe out for Rayner.

****ing hell mate, there's beating the dead horse, then there's your posts about Joe. We get it, you have a heavily bias view on Joe Daniher and no amount of fact will show you otherwise.

The fact is, Joe does the brilliant and the headache inducing every game - it's part of who he is as a player. He can cost us a goal through a terrible kick in the backline, only to score 3 goals (including the match winner in the final minute), lay a couple of tackles and stay on the field for 95% of the match despite covering lots of ground when rucking.

He will never be the perfect player and will always do something stupid most games, but he's an asset to this team and a big part of why we win games.

Tarrant hardly got a touch all game. Joe would have got twice the disposals (at least)

People are rightly saying what a great effort McStay produced, when catapulted into the ruck, but the bloke on him was probably Richmond's best player.

i get annoyed when people do not see the man on man stats.

McStay was beaten on the night (but was so important) but Joe clearly beat his direct opponent.

On another point Joe should not ever ruck. He didn't get a HT once again. Anyone would be better. It annoys me that Fages hasn't come up with a better option. I would try Hipwood!!!! He couldn't be worse.

Do not drop Darcy Wilmot or Dev Robertson please Fages, both showed plenty, Dev brings so much to the team/midfield mix and run, 12 disposals but runs his backside off.

What I think will happen is Out- Oscar, Wilmot, Ah Chee and Robinson. In- Fort, Rayner, Lyons and Answerth.

What I would like to see >

Outs- Mitch Robinson, Oscar McInerney, Darcy Gardiner.

In- Cam Rayner, Darcy Fort, Ryan Lester.

We need to replay that last 2 minutes in training, bring players into that zone and keep practicing. Clearly there is an extra gear of desperation hidden in there, just come up with some code name or signal for it and try to play in that mindset.

Then It'll become second nature for players to turn it on across the board like a set play. Pies have shown it can be done.

Plus Ah Chee for Gardiner.
Yeah that’s probably what I would do. I’m happy for teams to try to beat us in the air and I think a slightly (not much tbh) smaller, scrambly defence might suit us. That said, I think that we won’t and I think that’s fair enough.

Gardiner or Lester could be sub and we have 2 way running Ah Chee + Prior on the field. Gives us better balance overall. If something happens and sub gets activated, they can play in defense releasing Ah Chee for other roles.

Prior made mistakes but he has the tank and ability to cover ground. Better foot skills as well in general, but pressure did get to him yesterday. Hope we don't drop him.

I am assuming this game will be Friday night, is it announced straight after the game tonight?

Planning on going down for it, will we have trouble getting tickets if it is at the SCG?

Participating club members do get priority access don't they?

It’s good that we could win that game without our oldest players like Robinson, Zorko and Rich having much influence. Also no Lyons. I thought along with Neale, our young mids in Mccluggage and Bailey really took control of that game in key moments when it looked like we could be falling away. Bodes well for future seasons when you add Rayner and Ashcroft into that mix aswell.

Zorko was good.

Richy has dropped off significantly, will not go out of the team this year but expect him to be passed next season.

Love Mitch but he is no longer best 22 and almost certain to retire, probably be omitted for this game.

I don't think we will miss Richy, Mitch or for that matter Lyons if they are out of the side next season, Zorko's absence will be harder to replace but not impossible > Will Ashcroft + traded in mid.

I’m worried Neale will get tagged out of the game so we need to find another midfielder to stand up.

If we think his fitness is back to where it was last year I’d consider Lyons for Matho
Don't necessarily agree but yer the only way I would bring Lyons back into the side is if it is for Matho.

Would much prefer Dev and one of Matho/Lyons than no Dev and both Matho/Lyons.
