He definitely should not be trying any sort of nuanced kick... he was good on Dusty but to be fair Dusty was nowhere near his best coming off such a long lay off.Dizzy is a worry but I think it's at least partially a confidence thing. Those Dinky half kicks in the back line that get intercepted / smothered are a real issue and confidence/momentum killer. So I think he is better off roosting those kicks.
Otherwise I think he did well in the 1 on 1s with Dusty and minimised his influence which was SO important (allowed us to maintain our structure of Starc on Bolton and Dev on Prestia/Cotchin)
I only want it so I can go to the game in Sydney, but I also agree that we'd probably beat the red off them if we came in with the right attitude.I want the swans, reckon we can do em. Bring it on.
He was horrible last night fumbling the ball everytime he got near it or missing targets .Prior made mistakes but he has the tank and ability to cover ground. Better foot skills as well in general, but pressure did get to him yesterday. Hope we don't drop him.
Melbourne or Sydney, doesn’t matter, Gardner will get beaten either way. He’s become a liability sadly.
trollJoe was terrible tonight.
Again.
So Big O out for Fort. Joe out for Rayner.
I thought he settled into it in the second halfHe was horrible last night fumbling the ball everytime he got near it or missing targets .
I’m not sure if it’s confidence or just bad decision making. The worst part about the one last night is that it was a 8m handball, even if the kick came off perfectly it still would’ve put us under pressure.dizzy showed he can take the play on reasonably well not so long ago against carlton, was stepping through traffic and hitting up difficult targets. think its a confidence thing with him but whether that can be rectified before next week im unsure
Doesn’t have the speed. Payne might be ok but I’d worry about buddy outsmarting him.Surely Andrews takes Buddy?
Guy kicks goal in final 5 minutes = "match winner"
I wouldn't say Matho was quiet, but he was in and under and very influential on occasions getting the ball out at critical moments. I thought Rhy's game was very workmanlike and disciplined and am proud that he got to play in and win a final - definitely reward for all his effort. How good was Dev........Matho seemed quiet. McStay was brilliant and half arsed all at once. Payne......Good! Wilmot very promising.
Robbo looked like he struggled. Rich, quiet. His Kicking has gone off a bit. Cal didn't look 100 percent to me. Zorks was OK(i think) tho he didn't seem that damaging.
I'm not going to sleep
It will be next Friday night, confirmed on one of the post footy programs- otherwise the teams playing tomorrow wouldn't get a 7 day break.I am assuming this game will be Friday night, is it announced straight after the game tonight?
Planning on going down for it, will we have trouble getting tickets if it is at the SCG?
Participating club members do get priority access don't they?
He was horrible last night fumbling the ball everytime he got near it or missing targets .
In: Fort, Rayner
Out: Oscar, Robinson
Would like to keep it simple. Equally I think Dev and Wilmot are absolutely worth keeping in. If we want Lyons in, it has to be for Matho. Answerth is a tricky one as the one I'd personally drop is Rich but that isn't happening. May go Answerth for Wilmot.
In other words he was dropped?
I’ll be thereI only want it so I can go to the game in Sydney, but I also agree that we'd probably beat the red off them if we came in with the right attitude.
