I hear a few guys going for the Ashwood gig have promised players...
If clubs are so stupid to pick a coach based on the players that are comming with them
Then i would say that club is on the verge of folding

Anyone got any thoughts on how Skye might fare in Divy 2. I hear they may have picked up a couple from Edi Asp and also a couple of handy Keysy players. How many players would a 3rd divy side need to be competitive?

Sky had a list full of old hacks so they would want to get at least 10 new players.
I would say they will win around 7 games

View I ask a sensible question out of football interest and you post crap that you obviously know nothing about. You must be another one of these computer superstars. A list full of old hacks, care to elaborate on some names seeing as though you know so much about them, very interested in your assessment. A couple of older blokes ill grant you that, 1 kicked 100 goals so thats not a bad effort. I know a fair few of the Skye boys and at least half there side would be under 24. With there under 18s coming through also. Would 7 wins be a bad result for a side that is in its 5th year of existance, I dont know.

we have a good crop of younger kids coming through, granted they may take a year or 2 but a couple of these colts players will defeanetly be able to step up in there first year i believe.

Doesnt every senior team have a base of players between the ages of 25-33???

South yarra had 8 new players in the seniors from the divvy 3 grand final side.Our average age would be around 30 but most of us old blokes are having a kick in the twos these days.

The year after he left.
Rumour has it the new coach was the only one that turned up to the first training run.
So i would say if Ashwood want to go down that path i will show my support elsewhere....

A lot of Mick Allan bagging going on we were very happy with all the work he did at sth yarra this year and hope he stays on next year.In simple terms it dosent matter how good or bad the coach is if you dont have the cattle.....

Quite true!!player's make or break coaches careers .We will be in div1 this year if we fail we blame the players but if we make finals coach is a champ.Lets wait till the end of next season and see how the 3rd division club goes in 2nd divison and see how we go in 1st division ,and also how CLAYTON perform see who we all blame or laud.

Utter crap. I can assure you we wont be shelling out big money. We will rely heavily on the kids coming through. Hopefully we get a couple more walk in off the street like they did last year. We are still seaking a playing assistant coach if anyone is interested............
