You could re-draft a player that doesn't want to be there - but I thought you had salary cap issues (might have just been $$$ issues) - which would mean you couldn't afford him.

IF Port continue to be unrealistic, then Burgoyne has a decision whether to concede and play for Port, someone else - or take a risk in the ND, where's he's probably 90% likely to end up at the Hawks, drafted at pick #9.
What Hawks add to #9 is to counter the risk that Fremantle will draft him at #7, or you will re-draft a player that doesn't want to be there and pay him 800k for the privilege.
