Probably enjoyed this one more than any other game in years. As soon as Rachele went the extremely early crow I was engaged. The houston bangdown and ensuing scuffle actually bought me alive.

Actually makes you realise how sanitized the game has become, not that i'm condoning shirtfronts but that type of physicality has gone.
He would have hated being scheduled for an “interstate” game. Said at the start of the season he thought it unreasonable for commentators to travel & couldn’t understand why people were upset will remote calls.

MG, Dixon and Ratugolea. Marshall and Dixon can't play in the same team, has been proven time and time again. Unfortunately Marshall will cost us a win in finals, as history has showed time and time again.

I'd go Rat, Dixon & MG next week as I want to see that mix again, Esava looks nigh on useless when Mitch isn't there but these things can be all about the mix.

He loves Fremantle becauae he used to get most of their home games in the early days of Fox Footy Channel the 2002-06 version.
Maybe 8 or 9 out of 11 Freo home games every season for those 5 seasons. It continued after that but maybe 5 or 6 games a season.
He was the All Oz selector who pushed hard for Pavlich to be named at full back despite never playing there, was a CHB and stopped Mal Michael ever winning an All Oz selection. He was the best FB in 2002. He also pushed hard for Pavlich over Tredders in 2005 and Tredders missed out all together despite statitically having as good a 2005 as his 2001-03 years and just a tick below his 2004 output.

I witnessed a Woodville player get tunnelled when going for a rebound in a basketball game against Sunbury in the SEABL comp back in the late 1980's.
As you suggest it's the filthiest thing a player can do to another in that game, and it's an unwritten law do it and cop the consequences, which were the the tunnelled bloke got up from the floor and smashed the Sunbury player with a right hook.
Said Sunbury bloke ended up with a broken jaw, lost 3 or 4 teeth, and did leave that game in an Ambulance.
