Well if we don’t get any players back looks like we are gonna be back down to 2 available players for the WAFL Eagles. Barnett & Dewar will be the only ones left.

My interest in this season is purely the injury progress and just how bad it can get. This week did not disappoint.
F me - just get these campaigners to do some Copenhagens in the gym and it wouldn't be a worry. Finucane needs to go ASAP, we keep hitting clusters of the same injuries (hammies and now adductors) which means there is something wrong with training,strength or recovery.

Yep. Can't get any continuity at the moment unfortunately.
March 18 - Burgiel injures hamstring late in the WAFL practice match vs Claremont. Misses 2 weeks.
April 8 - Burgiel returns in Round 1 of the WAFL v South Fremantle, has 20 disposals.
April 15 - Burgiel plays Round 2 of the WAFL v West Perth, has 20 disposals. Injures his left hamstring late in the match, goes on to miss the next 5 weeks with the club saying he needs a conditioning block.
May 28 - Burgiel returns in Round 7 of the WAFL v East Perth, has 21 disposals. Doesn't play the following week and is spotted with a compression bandage around his left hamstring.
I don't like where this is heading.

Ok, West's injury was a collision and Hewett was the victim of a sniper but it appears all the rest are soft tissue.
This has to be the end of Finucane and his boss Kofoed. The injury problems emerged in mid 2020 and since early 2022 have become catastrophic with no end in sight.
I'm starting to get worried about Burgiel. Had 3 hammies and we haven't even reached the bye yet. We're gonna cripple this kid before he's even played a senior game.

Does he have a history hamstring injuries? Or has it just been since he arrived at the club?

My partner is a lifelong vegetarian and she literally suggested after the game on Saturday we find a goat and take it out to the middle of Optus and kill it in the centre circle
Concerningly there was a split second where my brain seriously pondered the pros and cons
