That to me means sounds like Barrass is 100% getting traded. I smell cover up
Him being out is more us giving a goodwill directive from the Swans. As Barrass is going to be their future investment they have asks us to pull Barrass out for remainder of the season. This is sort of a protection insurance to their future asset. Pulling him out for season now so he doesn't get any major injuries before then. Barrass is all but signed sealed and delivered with this news.
You think Barrass has a fractured back. We would of known it within the day after scans not weeks. No surgery. Barrass has likely told Eagles he wants out and this injury is easier for him then coming out and saying he wants out with 5 games remaining. Swans don't want him playing anymore games as of right now if Barrass has now committed to them.

Pretty easy actually. How the F does it take a week or more to determine if a player has a compressed fracture in their back!?
Well I know what i'm asking on Monday for Ask Simmo.
Why wouldn't they just carry on with the reported shoulder injury though if this was the case? Why turn it into a fractured back and not just say the shoulder is worse than we thought? You think Barrass has a fractured back. We would of known it within the day after scans not weeks. No surgery. But why invent a fake injury when he's already out with a real one?4D chess? The alternative is we're tanking the trade?! Which will be uncovered via independent medical anyway.. Or they incorrectly diagnosed it as shoulder to start off with, not having scanned his back.
I am reasonably convinced this is a put TB on ice for the Swans scenario though. Will eat my pie if I'm wrong but something smells fishy, and it's not my pie.
Just as likely to have slipped on some soap in the shower whilst belting out the chorus to Livin' on a Prayer into a shampoo bottle, tbh.But why invent a fake injury when he's already out with a real one?
Didn't he fall on his back (similar to the way Ryan did) in the tigers game? Could quite easily have caused this back injury and our dumb as f**k medical team didn't pick it up....which is exactly what I'm tipping has happened
Yeah, delayed onset. It was speculated when first announced it could be 2 weeks.McGovern out again with the same concussion?

To me it sounds like he landed on his head and has compressed a vertebrate in his back. This could be very minor but a scan would show it up. Not unexpected and warrents conservative treatment. That to me means sounds like Barrass is 100% getting traded. I smell cover up

"We've got North this week. They're not going to score with Jeremy and Tom down back. "McGovern out again with the same concussion?
Its a master class"We've got North this week. They're not going to score with Jeremy and Tom down back. "
"How about Gov still out with concussion and Barrass with... depressed fracture in his back. No surgery but probably won't play again this season."
"I like it. Lock it in."
Yep we have definitely gone down the path of if your 99.9% fit sorry but you not playing for the rest of the season. We only dealing with 100% fit player now lol. It's all a matter of this weeks result though. I expect Shuey and Nic Nat and some of those likely getting delisted types West for example to come back and play their farewell games"We've got North this week. They're not going to score with Jeremy and Tom down back. "

This 100%.Agreed, every player that needs rest / surgery should be going now. We need as much of our squad as possible to be on the track ready to go day 1 of preseason. There's no point having them play out the season then being late into preseason.
