Hurn, Long and Hewett not on injury list. Presumably available. Hurn to AFL? The other two to WAFL? But as no WAFL …

AFL injury list isnt always accurate, wait for the club official one

Five players listed as test/available is a nice change, but oof that SPS injury sounds nasty. Credit to the boys, they are really finding some creative ways to get written off for a month.

I wouldnt assume SPS is straight back this week.

Schofield on his pod said he was having internal bleeding issues on the muscle. From memory said he has to get it cut to help the blood drain.

Might be a few weeks, but club didn't help with the TBC last week

Schofield on the money with his inside goss

With the updates on Winder and SPS there is officially no TBCs on our injury list

Assuming all 3 players listed as “Test” pass we will have 31 players available for selection which would be the first time since the week after the derby we’ve had over 30 fit players

I’m amazed that the club’s medical staff seem to have escaped public criticism for sending Darling back on with a broken arm. I’m not a doctor but I would expect that there was a significant risk of aggravating the injury. One of the commentators, I think it was Schofield, commented that it looked like a broken arm during the coverage…if he could see it, then surely the clubs medics knew what they were dealing with.

The club’s got a duty of care to the players. It’s about time they took it seriously.

Someone's forgetting the super secret injury that's going to come out on Thursday

Lol at NN 6-7 weeks.

In the four weeks since he got taken off TBC he’s gone
7-8 weeks
7-8 weeks
6-7 weeks
6-7 week.

That’s not how time is supposed to work.

i dont know why youd bother pushing for ryan & cripps to return as they are still listed as 10-12 weeks away. that puts them at round 22 for a return, and thats coming straight into the team too.

Exactly, put them on the LTI list, and go 2 picks in the MSD. There's lots of talent out there. Let the recruiters earn their money.

That works fine. Means he'll be ready in 14 weeks.

I mean they may just genuinely not know how long it is going to take before he is ready to play. Achilles injuries are hard to put a timeline on.

Some would say that means he is 'TBC' but if they aren't allowed to put that in the injury report either right?

They can do whatever the hell they like. And they do.

But if you give a timeline and it starts blowing out, at least give us some indication about why. I went back through those reports and all it says is “he’s progressing” and “he’s working hard in the gym”.

No doubt he’ll be “progressing” for the rest of the season and his return date will get gradually further away until it’s season over.
