Chesser and Burgiel have both been removed from the list after recovering from their respective injuries

Andrew Gaff has retired and won’t be available to play

I'm glad for the Kane Cornes heat, we need it.

Wish he would get stuck into our club song - "I have it on good mail that the club know it's a stinker but the executives who approved it are trying to save face - c'mon West Coast just pull the band aid off, your club song is the laughing stock of the competition. Who would even want to win to have to hear that..."

Clearly they still haven't got to the bottom of the injuries... Same old secrecy coming out of simpson and co

He mentioned alot depends on the shape of players when they return from their breaks is a factor.

You dont come back fit enough and ramp up to the next level something breaks.

Real shame and not happy with this result. Were they easing him back in or what?

Hi folks,
Any update on the Liam Ryan injury? If fit he's a great forward option in Supercoach.
Cheers.

Almost certain to be back flying for round 1, very unlikely to have any setbacks or further injuries. Lock him in.

I

I see you are still posting an emoji with every post🤮

Speaking of trolls…

Nice to see you venture out of your safe space, the Simpson thread. You must be excited. On the runway now to the first practice matches and then the season proper. When can we expect you to be calling for Simpson’s sacking or spouting your standard inane drivel about him? The first practice match loss or Round 1? I’m certainly looking forward to it!

I would put a smiley face after the above, but I don’t want to overdo the emojis, I can see how vigilant you are about it.

Question is, where will Ryan get his surgery done.

Last year it was initially done in Perth (unsuccessfully) and he then went to Melbourne for corrective surgery after he was having trouble with the first operation.

The second operation used metal screws to reattach the tendon to the bone after what they used first time didn’t work. Not sure from what the club has said if reattachment is necessary this time though as all they’ve said is there’s some tendon damage

For a comparison, McGovern returned last year in R17 after doing his hammy in the R3 derby - a 14 week layoff. Ryan is a totally different player but 14 weeks would have a return around R6 (Derby) or R7 (Suns away)

That would be best case scenario you’d think

I would be using frequent flyer points to get the best available surgery

I thought that Ryan's last hamstring injury was in a somewhat unusual location due to how it happened?

Are we getting more pre season injuries, or are they just being more transparent about pre season injuries?
I'd imagine the latter.

Plenty of player sin and out of training last couple of years with no explanation.

Probably listened to the fans for once, or it's Pyke's directive to actually communicate to the fans after the secrecy the past few years.

Looks like TK ate one too many Christmas puddings as well

I see what they're doing, can't get injured during the season if you're out for the whole season...
Conversely, you can't get preseason training injuries if you don't train in the preseason

Gg. If Tim Kelly goes down then Ginbey is our number 1 mid. God help the second year player.

Sky is falling and records will be broken in terms of biggest loss margins
