I saw the Black Rock v Moorabbin game yesterday. 100 points to the Bombers

Kirky kicked 14 at FF in a dominant display of great leading and body work. He accuracy was amazing

However, the Roos were right in the game and only maybe 5 goals down at half time. Unfortunately their discipline let them down and twice in the 2nd qtr, they got into brawls that lead to one red card.

If they can keep their heads and stop blaming others for their errors, they could surprise a few teams. Mu was fantastic in the midfield

Black Rocks backline was very strong. They would scare a few if they make the finals

I will go along and Watch the Tunners this friday night

Hey Koach,

Wanna give us a match report from the game for those of us that missed it?
I heard that Highett had half a side of twos and the Tunners were nearly at full strength.

From my point of veiw i did not notice too many players missing >
But!
I will say this Highett played a very selfish brand of football the did not do the 1pcs that make all the difference.
They had way too many turn overs and did not follow Coaches instructions.
as for the Tunners i thought they played up to about75% capacity they really only did enough to win the Game
i am sure both these teams have improvement in them.
The Stakes are getting high for Highett they really need to knock off Sth yarra or Beena when the time comes!!
I would think that might be a big ask
There are Only 3 teams that look the goods at this Stage with the Yarra leading the way beating Ashwood with half a team.

had to get a few of the u18's to field a side.

The seconds are in ok shape, I'm making a come back to Highett to run around in the super twos for the rest of the year, getting a few other ex 1's players back and we should be fine.

Its all about depth at this level, Highett from what I've seen do lack that a little but its getting better.

I was at the game... Koach obviously wasn't! From what I could make out Highett had 3 big outs in Poelsma, Wright and Sibilia and Heatherton had Williams, D Hand, T Sauer, M Sauer, Wardell and Tucker. Clearly 6 of their better players. Any clues as to how long these players will be missing from their respective clubs?

Koach,
All 6 would be in our best 21 when fit but, some may not play again this year.Highett were also undermanned so both sides could offer excuses or reasons why they didn't perform at the expected level. One thing i can say is it was like playing a final, very tough and wasn't any easy touches.A great dressed rehearsal for Finals.

Would it be a fair call to say Highett are not in the top 3 best in Div2?
thats all i am saying My odds
Sth yarra $2.10
Heatherton $2.30
The Beena $3.20
Highett $10.00
Caulfield $15.00
Oakleigh D $ $22.00

South Yarra barely beat Ashwood, and Ashwood aren't much chop. Put your house on the Tunners. Not sure how this final 5 works. Is it possible that the Tunners could finish top 2, flog South and then go straight to the GF where they flog South again? South Yarra has beaten every other team but the Tunners.

Very possible scenario, the yarras would need to find something extra to match it with heatherton. There is still a long way to go and murrumbeena are coming along nicely. It will come down to who can get their best team out on the park at the pointy end of the season.

Finals venue will play a part as well. Yarra and Highett may not appreciate the confines of Clayton Reserve. Beena have played half their season at Koornang Park which is a similar size to Clayton.

I thought the Div 3 finals were at Clayton last year, i think The Koach was correct Eleven, you are a twit!!

P.S. ... Chops named me on the ball in the 2's this Sat so i'll be looking for some strong leads inside 50 from you!:thumbsu:

Sth yarra won the G/F at clayton last year so they should have a big advantage if the finals are played there..
And i agree Eleven you are a Twit do your home work before you talk your C#$p:thumbsu:

Yeah Eleven, do your homework!

P.P.S If you make space i'll hit you lace out with the old T.W...somewhat similar to way Koach used to deliver it in his heyday.

Round 11 Tips:

Highett by 21
South Yarra by 43
Murrumbeena by 14
Caulfield by 28
Heatherton by 87
