I think i might go watch the Yarra game this week True test for both teams.
Heatherton played below par las week nothing against the Bears they will be trying to send a message to the Comp that they are the real deal
great games it will be intresting to see how it all ends

Who should I be watching at Highett for both sides Koach?

I think this game will be won or lost around the stoppages The secret to beating the yarra is making them play accountable football.
the likes of , nevelle sheehan, and co thrive when they are not in contested situations. so you really need to smother the game and
make it less free flowing The highett forwards really need to work hard to stop South yarra from running the ball out from their back half.
The yarra will score at a ratio of around 3to1 every 50 entry so you reall need to make sure it is a low scoring game.
the problem for highett is they are a bit light on in their back half last week they really struggled to contain Hawkings and Davidson and the fact was these 2 guys kicked 11 out of 14 goals for the Beena.
So its going to be a huge challenge for them to stop Nevelle, White, Kreskas, Sheehan, the list of potential goal kickers goes on.
They will need more than Mcintosh dower to stand up.
I will be tipping the Yarra boys in this game say around 6 goals:thumbsu:

Great read koach, love your work.

Would be interested to hear your assessment of the heatherton and murrumbeena game?

Heatherton and the beena will be an intresting tussle.
The thing i noticed about the beena last week were they seem to be a one trick pony they seem to be very padictable in the way they play through hawkings i think the key to beating the beena is you have to have your Mids running back into defence all the time block areas around the hot spots by trying to create a defensive wall to stop hawkings and davo getting the ball in the beena forward line this will create the forwards to run wide let them have shots at goals from wide area of the forward line . remember the beena kicked 14 goals last week the balk of them kicked by 2 guys 11 in total as a coach that would be a concern.
As for the Tunners they have more options with their team I think this team seemed to really struggle the week i watched them whan a team
Started running the ball i think you really need to play a very patient game
keep possesion chip the ball around waiting for a fast break.
The problem the beena will have in this area they are a creature of habit relying on the same 3/4 players I would say Heatherton will win this game by about 5 goals Sorry i cant name players as i have only seen Heatherton 1 time this year

If you cant read my messages you must be thick because everyone else seems to be up to date on my Jargon

Sorry Koach, I have to agree with Strongy. It's got nothing to do with jargon. Your grammer and spelling are atrocious. I'm guessing you're educated to around year 7 or 8.

Caulfield will be fifth, just starting to get their best players on the park. (top 4 obviously tunners, south yarra, highett and beena in no particular order)

the bears could be a smokie come finals time

i would say oakleigh are starting to get there best side aswell... Big 98 is back from clayton i see, and there captian played in the two's last week. Big loss for the oaks is pitts anyone know where he is? would not right them off just yet!

1. Tonners
2. Yarras
3. Beena
4. Highett
5. Oaks

intresting they played well last week from all reports i watched them a couple of times this year they didnt look like they were playing with any real system and i didnt think they were coached too well
but you would no better my tip is Oakleigh for the last spot in the 5 but the bears will push hard

Pitts is a massive loss - champion player, but more importantly a champion bloke. Hope he gets back on the park this year.

The oaks problem is their lack of talls (i dont think theyve got one player over the 6 ft 1 mark apart from the ruckmen??)- and their game plan doesnt compensate for it.

caulfield will be far too big and strong for them but I hope Im proven wrong
