Absolutely spot on Hampton park and doveton picked up o lot of players that played in that league because they hated they travel and didn’t like playing on the boggy country grounds plus none of there supporters wanted to travel to them that’s why doveton got out of it

Frankston got knocked back by the MPNFL last year and I’m lead to believe once that happens their next application can’t be until 2 years later, so that won’t be until end of the 2023 season.

And part of the reason why they werent accepted is because the MPNFL didnt want a div 4 side coming in to their comp. Winning a flag and being competitive in div 3 next year will put them in a good spot to change leagues

Would want to be in top tier in Div 2 just to be competitive in Mpnfl then would still struggle

Absolutely agree. They are a long way off the standard of football MPNFL has

Would need another club to be approved, doubt MPNFL would want a BYE every week.

Werent Lyndhurst and CPL also approached to join a 3rd division in mpnfl a few years back?

And also Doveton apparently had 30 people at the club with covid. I doubt they have had 30 people to training this season
