So who's your 2nd club?

Well I commend you on sticking with your club (what is left of it anyway).

There's plenty left of it.

All I know is that my grandfather was a tough old bastard and a passionate Fitzroy supporter and the day Fitzroy as a club died, was the only time he ever shed a tear.

"Died"? Left the AFL competition. Leaving a league doesn't mean a club dies.

Whether it was to make the game better, whether it was to make both teams better, even if it was to give the supporters that winning feeling, I still state it was a sad day for football.

I went to Fitzroy's last AFL game in Melbourne (and all the games in Melbourne that year) and spent the day in the Fitzroy Club Hotel as they played in their last AFL game against Fremantle. Lots of people in tears at both.

I have no doubt you would know more than I about what transpired, being close to the club at the time. But for me, I just wished that the club could have been saved.

In the AFL? Yes it would have been nice. It could have been done too.

Fitzroy my first club. Brisbane Lions my second club.

I don't have a second team but I watch all of the Freo games.
I know the cross town rivals like the inside of my wife's v@g!n@.

Richmond...they had a good season in 1995 when I was really getting into footy; huge passionate crowd; the song; their guernsey/colours. Most Eagles fans would be disgusted in me, but I'm just being honest.

Luckily I don't care enough about them to be bothered by their ineptitude in many seasons over the past decade, but I'd like to see them win a flag in a season the Eagles are nowhere near it (so, no time soon).

No second club.

If I had to name one club that would almost leave me in a position where I might be able to think about coping if they beat us in a Grand Final, it might be the Doggies...

No second team.

Not even a second sport.

I do enjoy being a neutral watching other afl teams play and other sports.

I dont get the stress, frustration and disappointment that (sometimes) comes with being a tigers fan!

I wouldnt want it any other way though.

I don't really have a 2nd team so to speak... me i like football, and there's a lot of games around, but when you line them up together, the footy wins hands down.

So i try to follow everyone to a point, i find i hate certain teams which changes each year due to one particular thing.... fans!@@!@

I can get put off a team on the short term due to small sample sizes of fans, or sometimes because of individual players within a team, but you know... swings and roundabouts. But i have not really been a fan of collingwood for a long time and that is all eddies fault, and also essendon because they stole some of our best players 100 years ago While trying to prevent us joining the vfl. Amazing that i can hold a grudge for something that happened from 3x my age.... damn marshmallows

dont mind seeing the dees, doggies and giants get up

grew up in sydney, went to almost every sydney v geelong game from about 1984 - 2010. really grew tired of watching sydney, so am just happy to see another team up there now. my sister is a giants member for the same reason.

Seen a lot of Richmond growing up, i'd like them to break their finals hoodu

I didn't like Freo ages ago when i was young, but their change of appearance and being a good competitive team under Ross makes me hope that they'll break their premiership duck

I didn't like the saints this much but this year they gained my respect, and i don't mind them now and wish them well
