Boys love the friendly banter on here and have been reading it for a while now...interesting at times yes. From an outsiders perspective I thought East Brighton were the best team I played against this year but to St Pauls credit they thoroughly outplayed the Vampires in the GF and deserved thir win. Congrats! Hopefully a healthy rivalry continues to develop between the two.
Are there any news recruits down at Doggieland Cousin? I've heard Rafferty will most likely be back, but you also lose Liddell (retirement). What Heath's situation is he going around again? Spoke to uncle Steve the other day and he gave me the impression he may not go around again?

Can't really give too much away at this stage but hoping Rafferty slots back into the team on the half back flank.

You never know what will turn up on our doorstep........i've heard 2 - 3 names been thrown around.

Liddell is genuinely the only one, as we are keeping a lot of the premiership team.

Harley Ambrose, Sam McGarry & Jarryd Allen have a few more mates comming down for next season so that will just add to the depth of youngsters

I get on here every now and then and find it is obvious you're a Dingley supporter. DFC has great facilities and what I can gather a fairly good supporter base. They have strong juniors and village type support. They are financial and have been a great asset to the SFL. They are cashed up and spend plenty on on field coaching. In short they are better placed than most SFL clubs to attain success. So why is it your club has won 1 premiership in its history? That's not a good strike rate given the facility available. The core committee seem reasonable and know what is required so what is the problem? As I mentioned Dingley has that village atmosphere and support, far superior to most suburban clubs, particularly in the SFL across all grades. In my considered opinion it may be because it attracts too many village idiots. You mate, are the champion village idiot and would do your club a favour by simply going away and not continue to embarrass what is a pretty good club with your puerile insensitive comments.

I also heard that some players from the country had contacted stpauls expressing interest in playing with you. Either way I think you will be a better side next year than you were even this year. Up to the other sides to catch up

It's all good man, lot of talk goes around each pre-season.......i've already heard of 5 names from other div 1 sfl clubs linked to us, but yeah i guess until the pre-season starts then the real stuff you get an idea as to what the list looks like.

We are in a fortunate position in that clubs that have won a flag typically get a few that want success the following year, and unless you spend a lot of money, most of the team stays together.

I swear i've seen a Dingley pre-season article every year telling us how they are going to give the competition a shake.

More like a very mild tremor up until now, but we have held our spot in Div. 1 and there is a lot of optimism around the club.

It is about time that there was less talk and more walk. From all reports we have recruited quite well with another couple of "Big" names talking to us at the minute. Fingers crossed!

It would want to be a bloody massive signing considering Armstrong, Horler, r.Horler, Ferraro, long, young, Robinson, Deaton, hobley, mapstone and a handful of others have left!!!
