Whats he done wrong anyway. He tipped the winner on SEN a month before votes were cast.
Clutching at straws trying to have a go at the SFL here
I'm not having a go at the SFL, I'm just stating that after the stuff ups they've had recently, negative publicity for a high profile appointment can't be good for the league.

Can't be go

Looks like the judge and jury have already reached a verdict.

Had OP last year. Came off at quarter time in their final and had a shower. Be a real pity for Dingley if he cant get it right as he is a star at suburban level
He will miss the first month. He starts back running in the next few weeks. Still attends every training session.

Hey gents,
I'm from Richmond Central FC in D2 of the ammo's.
We're on the lookout for a praccy match on the 21st of March, you need to have a ground available as we can't get one.
Please let me know if this could work for your club.
Sorry for the spam and good luck in 2015.

Here's your chance to win big bucks in the Bentleigh Football Netball Club footy tipping comp. This is not just you've average footy tipping comp as the more entries there are, the more $$ you win. At the minute first prize takes home $1500 (depending on 50 entries), but we're not happy with that figure, we want to give away double that. All tips for the year must be submitted round 1 (or you can just enter and take the away teams) So click on the link below for more details & start tipping to win big!!

P.s. There's even a prize for coming last

Ran into the president of East Malvern last week and he is very bullish about the year ahead. Said they have recruited extremely well and in particular picked up a couple of guns from the Goulburn Valley League. He predicted a top 2 or 3 finish this year.

They'd want to finish in the top 2 when they are spending over $150k. Anything other than a flag would be an almighty failure.

Serious question, is $150K considered a lot in the SFL? Is this standard?
Just asking as what I hear coming out of the EDFL is that if you spend $150K you will finish bottom 2 - I think Doutta Stars spent around the $250K mark and got relegated.

Yeah its a lot.

If you spend $150k, you should easily finish top two (if not win it). Normally its $100k+ to be a flag chance.

We aren't a big money league, thats why we are ranked No.6 in the metro champs. Just haven't got the $$$ to attract, or just as importantly, keep high quality talent.

We are ripe for the picking for other metro comps.

Northern Football League's Montmorency are spending that amount and they're lower end of the pay scale.
I think $150k in this league is unsustainable. Good luck East Malvern I hope everyone gets their money's worth

Interesting reading.. All leagues are different and I suspect 150k in the SFL is up there budget wise, compared to other clubs.
I'm from the EDFL and yes EDS spent big (approx 250k) and got relegated but unfortunately they recruited players from another league that were not up to EDFL premier league standard. Paid them big money and they have left after 1 year..
Some other teams paid less that EDS but survived..
The top 4 sides budgets were >300k. It's gone crazy.. One side has both Dean Galea & Patrick Rose (both ex Port Melb Full Forwards) so take a guess at what these 2 players would be getting? They didn't even make the Grand Final.. 2016 is going to be even bigger..

So was Lucas Walmsly the only one to get a VFL contract out of the four?
Bolger returned a month ago didn't like the seriousness and lack of mate ship at Port, Peety is back at the Dingoes. Noodles looks like playing VFL Seniors at this stage and was guaranteed a spot on the list from the start. Jack Williams is locked in at Sandy.
