Old Xavs have overrated for a number of seasons now, also the wheels are falling off as there have been quite a few players fleeing the roost.
There will also be another 2 big names leaving at the end of this season.
The big power forward is still very proppy, but his contract states that he's got to be on the park by rnd 8.

Overrated? What are you on about, and we lost goss cause he was hungry for some coin after the Recruit, heard of a bloke called luke ball, he will be there this year. We are getting off track, not about xavs. Good luck to all you SFL players this year. Give em hell.

How bout you concentrate on recruiting players who can play finals football in the 1s and not who our 2s are recruiting.

BTW, Chelt lost to Werribee Districts (WRFL Prelim Finalists last year) by 15 goals yesterday. Very good side apparently (wasn't there!).

Dingoes hosted Frankston YCW on Saturday. Fought back to within a goal at 3/4 time before being beaten by 5 or so goals.
Very solid hit out for us with a few regulars looking on. I am sure YCW had a few out as well.

Managed to catch the Clayton game they looked inept to say the least sporting more then a handful overweight characters mixed in with a lack of transition running ! Looks to be a long season for the clays! Was a 100 point loss

Southern Footy League can go get D King and whoever else they like but they will be embarrassed tomorrow by the EDFL. Just seen the squads, the SFL side wouldn't make the top four in the EDFL let alone be competitive with their rep side. SFL truly will be proven as the weakest metro league tomorrow.

SFL never had a chance, Division 1,2 & 3 League B&F from last year all absent from the squad. They have come out and said they purposely didn't choose the best players? 80 point loss and the EFL or WRFL next year, either should do the SFL squad by 100+
