Port Colts dominating Div 2, and East Brighton clearly struggling on and off the field. Another poor decision by the Executive. Port wanted to come straight into Div 1 but the SFL and their high and mighty attitude ensured we have another skewed competition. Div 2 has a bye. Send EB to Div 2 and at least give them a chance to start rebuilding. Wait until Round 10 or 11 when injuries and fatigue have set in, it will be a joke.

St Pauls: Struggling early in the season.5th
Cheltenham: Perennial under achievers. Sitting 8th.
St.Kilda City: Struggling. 9th
Clayton: Honest team, but lacking a few players. 7th
Let's see how they perform against Oakleigh Districts.
Districts weren't far off East Malvern...in fact 9 more scoring shots...so you would think they'd be competitive against Bentleigh...although given some of the inconsistent crap we've seen in recent weeks, e.g East Malvern v Mordi, Mordi v St Pauls...you just can't guess what's going to be thrown up???

The same st.Paul's that beat mordi? Oakleigh are up there with the main 4 but have only beaten Cheltenham, St.Kilda City and Clayton as well, they challenged East Malvern but it wasn't a win

Have seen both Oakleigh and Bentleigh so far. Oaks are the better of the two.
Paul Fermanis is back, and they've recruited Ryan Pearson and Jake Mullen (Dingley premiership player last year). Pretty fair ins...
Fermanis is a jet. not too many better players in this league

I'd be very surprised if you'd had even seem him play
Not much difference these days between top half of Div2 and bottom half of Div1...you don't see relegated sides bouncing straight back up the following year like they used to. Oakleigh have always had a good side, but seemed to have this massive monkey on their back having no flag-winning success. Occasionally (according to theory) also had a couple missing making numberplates when they should have been playing football...
