I reckon he is 100 to one to play anywhere else if he is delisted.

Probably but I thought he showed enough to deserve another go. He was one of our better players in his last game and was good against the Hawks. I thought he was worth persisting with but he seems to be on the outer.

I didn't expect Paddy to come back in after Membrey kicked 5 goals, it won't hurt Paddy to have a spell in the VFL anyway.
Love Paddy too good for VFL but he needs another preseason for the AFL if Membrey preforms he has the right to hold his spot long season Paddy will force his way back in. Now we have a few good distributors in our VFL side I'll expect Paddy to kick 6+

I reckon Lonie is a monty to play. Even if it was just one match it was a "far too good for VFL" type of game and I can see him coming straight back in.

Not sure how Goddard has been going in the VFL but I'd say he's a sneaky chance too.

I really hope Goddard plays. It would probably mean both Lonie and Gresham miss though unless Ross is under a cloud which I presume is the reason he is named on the pine.

Dempster to Waite
Fisher to Petrie
Goddard to Brown

I'm fairly happy with those match ups.

My source (which has been unreliable at times) says Goddard is going to play Sunday.

Looking at that bench, I think it's for Gresham. Lonie will have to bank on a late withdrawal or Ross or Dunstan. Murdoch not too close, but interesting to see Weller named on the bench.

If Goddard does play this week, Then i would drop Minch (fan of his btw) when the game was on the line he had 1 or 2 disposals in that half which is nowhere good enough. Once Melbourne rolled over then he ended up getting a bit of the ball. Now i dont see the Roos rolling over like the Demons done last week.

I like the Minch as well, but he went missing in the first half last week and we can't afford that against the Roos.

Minch was named on the field, so he's not being left out and his best quarter on the weekend was the 3rd (7 possies), at the start of which we were only two goals up, so he was one of those that helped us take the game away from them. No doubt he'll need to perform this week though, as he almost certainly won't last another week if he has another ordinary one overall.

A ridiculous idea that would never happen, let alone work, in the real world crossed my mind. What if we play Rooey off half back? Make one of their tall forwards accountable for him, not the other way round.

It's been over a decade since he played CHB so I wouldn't expect anything defensively from him, but as a running, marking player he could have a huge impact. It's leave our forward line pretty short but I don't really rare North's tall backs anyway.

I'm going to make a big call but if Ross misses that nearly rules us out. He so important for our run and carry this year we will struggle to reinvent our game plan without him. He is covering huge amounts of ground this year and is so often the running link.

I thought they held up amazingly in the Dogs game. Thompson particularly stood up when needed.

Why can't Paddy & Tim play together?

One is a third tall, the other a KPF.

It probably just makes us too tall with no smalls with Bruce as well. Members is a lead up forward still despite his height.
