I was beginning to think that too, did give the impression he liked playing in reserves a little too much...

Probably bitter and jsut trying hard to going over the top to prove a point!

For those of you having a crack at Surjan's commitment to the cause it's interesting reading through this thread and relating the comments to today Surjan three year contract

I'd like to know what's happened to cause one of our shining lights and career one club player hopefuls to being thrown out with the bath water

The mob is fickle

Is Motlop off contract? If we could offload both Surjan and Mots to GWS for picks and then not lose anyone else to them that would be pretty great. I've always liked Surj and have been wanting him to feature this season but there are obviously deeper issues than what's been reported.

He would want to go to WCE I would have thought but he wouldn't get a game for them atm so I can't see what they would give up for him. Lycett would be nice ;)

Don't believe everything you read guys. Still every much a Port adelaide player. Thanks for all the kind tweets tho.

That's good to hear ..... I'm still hoping deep down that his knee, and lack of pre-season has been the big issue here.

lol when people say stuff like this is the clubs fault. if its true, bye bye. thanks for the service, dont let the door hit you on the way out.

When the prevailing groupthink consists of Laidley, Rohde, Cripps and an increasingly wits-ended L-Plate coach it's not hard to see where the skepticism on player management comes from.

1 so is he moving?

2 Is any1 interested in him, what would be his value?

3 it will be a shame if he leaves, great player even if it is just getting 25+ disposals for the magpies every week

Might as well tell us im sick of people and their anonymous sources.

You can usually make your own judgement on the posters credibility.

You are foolish if you think I'd come on here and repeat something told first-hand in confidence and then backed it up with names. Other people would be the same. I'm sure there are lots of posters (stalkers?) on here who are close to players, officials, partners etc.

dont disagree tribey, just reckon people are reading too much into this issue. Surj clearly isnt doing enough, case closed. if this conjecture is true and he does want out, then he can most certainly gtfo. i def hope it isnt true and he wants to stay at the club cause ive always liked him.

I'd love Surjan at Freo. Shouldn't be too hard to get a deal going if he's not a required player at Port. Wonder if he wants to come home? I seem to remember he's not a Freo fan but that may have been heat of the moment comment.

losing our heart and soul lately

not smart

Bernie tips, phoenix- people don't get it i guess.

Neither are Pettigrew, Salter, Ebert, Rodan or Kane but they keep getting games. Surjan is younger than all of them (except Salter) and better than all of them. Something's not right. Case reopened.

pretty hard to keep some1 out of your team who has won 2+ B and F's

I think he has the same effect that players would rise knwoing that one of the greats of the 00's is out there with him

Primus keep him tagging mate

Perry Mason closed this case. Surj is mediocre at best time to move on. He was ok when he had better players around him but unfortunately he never moved to the next level like a lot of his friends.
