My flagpole is so high right now it's not even on the graph.

Side note - I'm banned from the Swans board, but I'm assuming they're analysing the umpiring in todays game, right?
Umps missed a blatant throw by Sydney and they won the free kick count…don’t know what they could possibly be complaining about

Could he be a sneaky Brownlow top 5?
Yes. It feels like he’s played a lot of great games in our wins. 25 votes is on the cards.

Bont’s hopes might be done for 2024. Probably hasn’t polled a vote in a month but don’t think he’d give a flying toss with our form.

Outstanding freebie signing

He is winning me over - playing with confidence in his dash and taking opponents on. Im not sure waht he was like at the hawks, but Im guessing he is playing the best footy of his career.

Naughton playing like he has more confidence in his knee now - he was in everything, and rarely saw him and Jamaara in the same frame.

I'll definitely put my hand up and say that I thought we had next to no shot winning 2/4 of the last few games let alone 3/4.
Credit to the players, coaches etc. they have responded to the external pressure the best way possible i.e. win.

Adz has to be leading our bnf and what a year so far even just from his leadership. Probably one of our best trades I can remember nothing but praise for him.
Has Ed saved our season? I get a lot of players have stood up Bramble, West, Dale, Marra etc. but I think Ed into the midfield was a major turning point. I've been screaming for ages that we can't just have Bont, Libba etc carry us we need those next blokes to stand up. So massive pats on the back to them.
Our defence deserves a massive shout out. Last year I was very critical of them but this year they deserve their flowers.

With all that been said the club can't take the foot off the pedal. They need to cash in. The typical bulldog script is that we somehow shoot ourselves in the foot and blow it. So enjoy the win but we need to lock back in for the Dees on Friday.

Daniel Pratt deserves a lot of credit and hasn’t been mentioned much.

We seem to have developed a rock solid defensive structure that allows multiple players to come in and play roles, rather than relying on individual players.

I reckon we haven’t been in as good a form as right now since 2021.

Was a seriously impressive win today.

I was probably most impressed by our least best quarter - the second. They really lifted that quarter and we withstood them.

Feel I owe Bramble an apology. I admit I thought he wasn’t up to it. He’s been great. I’m also not one to double down on past opinions given if they’re wrong. Sincere apologies Lachie!

Jamarra was amazing today - he’s in a great patch of form. That fend off goal was all kinds of awesome.

We’re looking very dangerous at the moment.

Good chance to get over the Melbourne hoodoo next week.

All of a sudden we have one of the stingiest defences in the league.
2 aquired kpf's converted to kpd's, 2 Hawks cast off's and a trade for an often injuried saint. Plus a 3rd tall who has worked his way in our system from a cat b rookie.
That's the stingiest defence in the league!!!!!
I'm mean how good is Sammy P

Sure why not, little bunny.

I didn't forget Dale who has been in great form for this year, but he was a 3rd round draft pick and someone can correct me, but that pick was before Sammy arrived.

Duryea was terrific again.

It can’t be underestimated how important it is to have a hardened senior body who makes good decisions behind the ball.

Along with some of his attacking links being handy, Duryea has nailed half a dozen or so big tackles in the last month.

There was one today at a key stage. If that’s a kid trying that, Swans score a goal.

He’s easily got another year or two in him.

I always thought the news of his demise last year was a little premature. He has been outstanding this season.

I honestly thought he was done last year, must of be carrying an injury that was affecting his play.
He's been a rock 🪨 this year along with Jonsey.

Loved the win but gee the commentators are interesting. All three of these immense games have ended with commentators saying:

“We’ll that’s just very not like the <Carlton/Geelong/Sydney> we are used to seeing. Gee you’d have to put it down to an aberration to get beaten like that… etc etc…”

You’d think by todays game they might be able to look past their own navels and realise their could be a common denominator?

I thought it wouldn't be possible to match or even better the excitement I felt on GF day in 2016. For the past eight years I've always thought any future GF we make will obviously be awesome but couldn't possibly rival 2016...

Well, I can say with certainty that if we somehow defy the odds again and win this year's premiership, it will eclipse the joy I felt in 2016.

Regardless if we make the GF, I am guaranteed a ticket.

My seven-year-old was fortunate enough a few weeks ago to be announced as a NAB Auskicker of the Year member. This means he gets to present a medal on Grand Final day. He gets to take a parent (me) to share in his special day.

My goodness, I tell ya what. If I get to see my son hand a medal to a premiership Doggie, you're gonna need a kayak to get out of the MCG. Tears of bloody joy I tell ya, dead set.
