News Swans Talk in the Media: 2016 Edition

At the end of the North & Geelong game last night, when Eddie was mentioning the Sunday games to come, he called our game as the one between the "AFL's love children"!

Further reinforcement he's a f . . . wit with his days as Collingwood head honcho numbered.

He's welcome to his opinion. But as a foxtel subscriber i expect the coverage to treat me as a consumer with respect, not make me feel like the butt of some Hot Breakfast injoke 9 times a week when I tune in to watch my footy.

I don't and haven't for years now. The comment we are referring to occurred during the broadcast of the Geelong Game last night. They can spew whatever crap they like everywhere else - but this crap shouldn't be part of general football coverage.

Healy cares about the club, he stands up for us any time he can and yep he was pretty upset by that farce as well. Last year he was genuinely concerned with our deficiencies and highlighted them aptly. He criticises us rightly so and he stands up for us rightly so but then again it is hard to do that when you look at the people he's surrounded with.

I did. Perfect timing. Complained about his bulllying behavior. A week later the mmm shit hits the fan and a week after that he was off the air for an early holiday.

If AFL had called Eddie out and actually done something on his almost decade long bully tactics of the Swans in his broadcast roles, then Eddie wouldn't be taking early leave now.

But they didn't. And the media bully behaviour continued until he went too far, because that's the thing with bullies, they always go too far eventually.

Fox sports, also allowed, if not encouraged Eddie's diatrabes against the Swans. Being Fox they would class that at 'good' tv. Time for a rethink Fox.
