Flog on the right
Both useless. Harley; We reviewed the GF & as was appropriate Horse was in charge of the review'. NO, NO, NO! This is a coach that has just lost yet another GF by over 60 points. This is a coach who has not had an idea of how to win a major game in game since 2012. You need outside reviewers like; Lethal, Blight & Parkin (if he is not demented after all he is 82)

The tricky part in running a review is that ideally yes you have outside eyes and experience but you also need to know what actually happened, not just on the day but into days, weeks and months leading up to it.
I would have liked to have seen it done in two phases:
1) working on the coaches with an outsider like a recently retired coach, a facilitator, someone like Jude Bolton to determine what had been done or not done. Make a report for the CEO and Board.
2) someone from Leading Teams to work through with the players in true Bloods fashion why they gave up and get commitment that this will NEVER happen again.
The role of the coaches in the second part is not clear in my mind.

It's been said after the 22 GF. I think that sort of commitment or notion is a bit of wishful thinking. The only thing that matters is actions, words don't have much impact now.

'True Bloods' spirit was expressed in words but delivered through actions.

Maybe this can be our 'motto' next season?

I want the review to focus on the coaches, purely tactical review which would include the entire season & preparation for games. We were flat to start most games & flat in the GF too.

I actually love that 'motto', how do I trademark it? 😂

Yes to the coaches BUT we can't afford to just focus on the coaches. The players have to explain as individuals why they weren't up for hot starts with pressure from the get go. I can't believe they were under instructions to go slow.
