A bit of a strange strategy again. Probably leaves us with the most unbalanced list in the comp.

And the whole hard-nosed/competitive/defensive mindset we were supposedly going with when the rebuild started a couple of years back has supposedly been thrown out the window.

Having said that, I like Hayes and the Davey boys. I think Tsatas’ fit will be an issue, but given he’s more of the same he can’t really make our midfield any worse early on.

so relabel the KPF and KPD columns to "tall fwd" and "tall def", and then relabel general as "small/medium". voila!

The stewart deal is certainly the baffling one. Hasnt really been up to it at any stage. We have laverde and zerk for the immediate term. Seems a shame to lose eyre after 2 years

Dont mind the draft but keen to see what we do with the last two spots on the list now.

Dont we have two picks with jayden on the LTI?
Or is that only available at MSD time?

But if you are basing it on what their age will be in 2023 then you might as well not have the 18 row.

I just grabbed the ages from here and then just chucked in the newbies as 18.

A year swing either way isn't really relevant until you're old anyway.

Edit: having a look at the draftees birthdates, only the Davey's will be 19 by the end of the season with may birthdays. Munkara, Tsatas October birthdays and Hayes December.

My critique is we didn’t address our ability to run both ways and improve the aerobic base of our list. I’m still not convinced we have the aerobic running power in the Merrett, Parish, Shiel, Hobbs, Caldwell and now Tsatas group. Martin and Durham help, but I feel as though a Carlton-esque draft will be required from us shortly to target strong aerobic athletes.
Just my opinion.

Surely there is room for another.

It is quite clear Tsatas is not that good, not the magical so much better than everyone else available. It is very easy to read between the lines.

If you compare us to any of the final sides I don't think we match up well aerobically.

Big concern going forward.
