as much as i hate bitching about umpires (i'll leave that to our cross town friends) there have definitely been a couple of big (wrong) calls. then again, pearce should have nailed the goal off that 100m penalty

Pearce's miss from 35m in front out was terrible considering the momentum is totally against us and that could have kept us in it at least.

Well I don't have faith in our coaches to drop him so any way to get him out of the team would be great. He's detrimental to our team at the moment.

Bulldogs are peppering now - about 12 inside 50s to 4 in this quarter.
I think we've had one shot on goal this quarter from the 100m penalty that Pearce got.
Ebert very lucky to get that high tackle after dropping "yet another" mark - he is playing well but should be holding some more grabs.

Could do with some time in the SANFL now.
We've seen what he is capable of and he will be a great long term player - but not making any impact at the moment.
If only we had someone ... anyone ... to replace him with.
I can't believe Primus dropped Chad, in his brothers 200th, but kept Motlop!!

Just happy trotting around out there by the looks of things.
As I said earlier - our intensity has dropped right away.
Motlop's average disposal count playing in Darwin would have to be about 5.3 touches per game. The most predictable thing in football - Port play in Darwin and Motlop fails to produce...........whatever his preceding form.
Our small forwards (Ebert, Motloper, Hitchcock and Davenport) are very ineffective.

They had three iffy goals, one for a mysterious hold 100 mtrs down play, one for an inate runner impeding noone and another because Chaplin tackled with intent instead of placing the Bulldog player back on his feet and adjusting his collar!
We did lose some legs that 1/4 though

Make that 10. Could have a bit of compitition looking for a new coach.
Our intensity dropped off a bit for 10 or 12 mins and the umpires gave 'em 3 goals and Chaplin one but we lifted and we look good again.
It's great to see us playing unsophisticated football. Now for the nastiness!!
