Hey - We have two weeks of blissful optimism left.

For now some part of me hopes for a 97/05/12 shock the world season.

And side note - what do you expect the captain of the club to come out and say in an interview. "yeah we have a pretty sh*t list and next to no experience. One or two injuries and we will be terrible, but hey I am getting paid a bunch of money to kick a footy so who really cares?"....

Why would he have to say that? He can be realistic without shitcanning everyone.

He is definitely wouldn't be my first choice for a set shot in front of goal, but he has improved a lot in that area since he came in. His first couple of years in the side he was awful, but he is now at least serviceable. I would be ok with him resting forward for 5 minutes a quarter clunking marks and having set shots in that 0-25m range.

Clunking marks ahead of the ball with a dedicated opponent is vastly different to being an extra at the contest behind the ball. ROB works ahead of the ball quite a bit as it is, he'll be totally useless resting forward. Total waste of time.

He's at least improved from a very low base!

He looks to have mild KNEE VALGUS or knock knees

If so, it likely contributes to his poor vertical leap and general instability.
